Liked the room size and availability of mini-kitchen. Little extras like, Extra storage area, shelves for putting things and lots of counter top. "Mobil" table that can be rolled to a usable location and restored under the counter when done. Clean, fresh, and new looking. Great for multiple days stay and for stay with smaller kids.

Free breakfast was rather plain. Typical of a hotel but no meat products like sausage or bacon. Virtually no exhaust fan for the bathroom, it was there but very poor air movement. Limited TV channels (that we would typically watch)

Thought it was good. You need to move the waffle makers. It was a log jam every morning. Move it to its own station, away from the line for the rest of the food. A pancake maker would be nice.

We had a dog, I called the hotel early about the dog. Asked to be put on first floor. We were put on the 4th. He’s a good dog and it ended up working. First would have been better.

I have stayed in some nasty hotels in MI and this one is nice. I was super happy with it. They cleaned the room every other day and it helped a lot. The pool is great fun for kids. We had a 6 and 9 year old with us and they enjoyed it. I would stay again for sure if I came back to the area. THANK YOU Hilton!!!!!!

I would say if ANYTHING could be better it would be the breakfast only because it runs from 6am-10am. We would normally get down there at 8:45Am-9AM and the food would be a little dry or somethings empty. Just a thought to make sure everyone can eat decently in between those times.

The breakfasts were good, and the location was also perfect for our purposes. But what made the visit exceptional was the staff - every person we ran into was smiling, friendly, professional and helpful. We even got to meet some "back of the house" folks in passing, who went out of their way to help us when my daughter's headphones needed a little super glue. Your management is doing a great job hiring good folks and I hope you're working as hard to retain these wonderful people!!

The entrance to the parking lot of the hotel was pretty close to a busy traffic light, so another entrance might have been easier to get in and out of safely. We also weren't positive about which entry would get us to the lobby / check in area.

Breakfast could have been better. Due to the storm food options were limited but that was the only hiccup..we stayed 6 nights and all went very well! Would stay there again.

Pool area was smaller than anticipated. The staff were all super helpful and friendly!!

The location was perfectly situated to where we were looking to go - Saugatuck and Holland for the beach. The beds were comfortable. We had a 14 yo on the fold out couch and a 16 yo in the other bed. The breakfast had a lot to offer (even during peak times of Labor Day Weekend) and there was something for everyone. Plugs outside the bedroom worked well for the girls to get ready that needed a blowdryer. Plenty of open storage to put things away. Little fridge/sink/microwave were a bonus. Never needed the microwave but we used the fridge. One night I couldn't sleep - it was nice having a place (lobby) to go sit and get out of the room for a bit and not keep the family up. I could have worked out as well (opened all hours).

Since it was Covid, there were times the lobby was a bit crowded but that didn't matter. Sliding barndoor for a bathroom was fine but not as nice as a regular door would have been.

The woman at the front desk was wonderful. She even went in back and made me coffee when the pot ran out at breakfast. She brought me a fresh cup from the machine so I didn't have to wait for it to finish brewing!! She checked for a reservation at another Home 2 Suites in Ohio.

The bed was a little hard!

Staff was super friendly and accommodating.

We visited during Tulip Time (busiest season!) and the hotel decided to have the doorways/stairwells and front and side entrances painted and we could never get in or out of the hotel without trying different ways (which was exhausting carrying two babies)

Location was great, right off the main drag - room was clean, beds were comfortable - staff was very pleasant when we checked in & out. Room is great with a large frig, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, silverware, all the comforts of home. Will certainly stay here again as we have family in Holland & come here often.

Noisy people above us must have had kids & lots of running & jumping!! Would have been nice to have something in the room to cook on besides a microwave - they should have a few burners in place of one of the many counters that are in the room. If you shower in the morning, water is not real hot. They could stock extra amenities in the bathroom in the drawer that is there, i.e. toilet paper, instead of leaving small partial rolls on.

In these crazy covid times,it's hard,at best to rate a hotel. Their normal breakfast was not served, but a nice packaged breakfast of fruit, bagel,cream cheese and a hard boiled egg was offered and appreciated. We were in Holland, Michigan to see the tulips and windmills and all the touristy things they had to offer. The lady at the desk, gave us maps, suggested things we didn't want to miss and suggested a really good waterfront restaurant. When we returned, we wanted to use the pool and they sign you up for an hour you choose and you are not in the pool area with anyone else. Safety first at Home2Suites was evident. The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Where ever we decide to roam to next, we will definitely check for a Home2Suites to stay in.

All was fine.
