Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Holland

I was pleasantly surprised with brightness and cleanliness of the room. We felt that we were in a safe area. My husband and I stayed in the accessibility room 133. I liked the nightlights on each light switch. We also liked the hot breakfast provided. Biscuits and gravy. If I were to eat them again, I think I might micro the biscuits first. They also had a pancake machine, sausage/egg/cheese bagels, usual carbs, cereals, oatmeal, juices and coffee. We had a quiet,, restful night. We would recommend this hotel.

The room smelled slightly musty. My husband thought that it might be the air conditioner.

Nice and quiet place, completely clean and sanitizing. My room was awesome, clean and brand new towels and pillows.

Comfortable beds having good support. Happy there was an extra bath towel near the tub. Good size LED TV and cable service provider guide seemed easier to use than other places we've stayed.

Need firmer pillows. Breakfast is a let down with little selection to choose from. Juicer out of order and coffee is instant - not brewed. Limited seating space and we were there on what should have been a slow weekday and still could only sit on stools at elevated table. Some single guests were camped at tables meant for 4 or 6, doing nothing more than having coffee and scrolling through their phones.

Location was excellent close to all we needed. They had silver dollar pancakes made from a machine which I have not seen before and were excellent. We had a suite which was excellent and the woman who checked us in even asked us which floor we wanted which was very nice. Very quiet room and air conditioner was quiet also. Very nice stay, helpful staff.

The coffee wasn't the best and no regular creamer all flavored. There was some wear and tear on furniture in room but clean.

The close location to attractions we wanted to go visit. The price that allowed us to spend on other things. The ability to bring our dog. The noise level of other quests was very low.

The mirror wall above the bed was a little distracting. Would have liked 4 pillows on each bed. These are such little things that I would not worry about it!

This hotel is pet friendly. You will actually see many dogs. The location was very close to the Holland aquatic center. Not necessarily the best part of town but close to the Holland aquatic center. The breakfast was in a bag due to Covid. The staff was super helpful. The rooms were pretty outdated but the beds were big and comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave which we used most of the time. Honestly it was a bargain, just not in the best part of town. We had to drive to get good food etc.

You could hear your neighbors. There was some deep cleaning in the bathroom that needed to happen. We weren’t there lounging around so I got over it pretty quickly.

Location was central to all the activities while being in a very quiet location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I will stay there again!

While they provide breakfast, and the selection is varied, I would describe it as adequate. That being said, I ate well every day.

US bicycle route 35 is just down the road. Room on the first floor and a door on the end of the building so you don't have to push your bike through the lobby. Breakfast was out early so you can get an early start to your ride

Breakfast was in a bag. We came down a few minutes too late, but the lady still gave us breakfast.

We were told it would be one price from Booking.com and when we arrived, it was an additional $26+ dollars. It took we contacting Booking.com and emailing the GM for several weeks before they credited the money back on my card. We always stay at this hotel when we come to Holland, however this experience will make us look elsewhere. Too bad he didn't fix it quickly like he said he would.

We liked the convenience of its location to downtown and the other sites we came to see!

It was an ordeal to get clean towels each day. I understand the restrictions for Covid—but emptying my own trash, and the along the dirty towels down to exchange for clean ones seemed a little less like ‘paying to stay away from home’ and seemed a little like I was at home. Hopefully, things change soon and hotels will go back to freshening up ones rooms daily. After all, it IS one of the services one appreciates while away from home! 😊
