Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Howell, an IHG Hotel

Though the decor maybe could use a refresh the entire place was clean and all ice and vending machines clean and working. The breakfast buffer was delicious and kept freshly stocked with a wide variety of choices. The Staff were all exceptionally warm and pleasant as well as competent. The bed and bathroom linens were fresh and clean. The frige and microwave were great! The available computer and printer in the breakfast room were very handy!

The mattress was a bit lumpy but not all that bad and the carpet in the room had more than a few stains but none of it was bothersome. Something that I REALLY appreciate is an available HDMI hookup for my travel ROKU - the in room television choices were limited.

The room was larger than expected and the breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable overall. Also, our rooms were close by (from request) so I could jump room to room during the wedding.

When we turned on the heat (it was cold at night), the dust was heated up and made the room smell very bad. We needed to air it out but the windows do not open very wide sadly. We couldn't use the heating system at all during our trip and moving rooms were not an option due to the busy weekend and needing a large room for the wedding party.

Rooms and common areas are cleaned well. Staff is professional, helpful, and always kind. We stay here every summer. Location is ideal for visiting our family or if you’re traveling with small kids—outlet mall with putt putt, castaway play, and a Coney Island all within a mile.

Property could use a facelift in general but it is well cared for by the staff.

The breakfast was adequate. Not a wide variety of food, but enough variety for anyone. The location was easy to get to. Interstate noise was not really noticeable. Arby's is convenient. and Leo's Coney Dogs and McDonalds are close. The 24 hour coffee bar was nice. Staff was friendly, helpful, and johnny-on-the-spot with a fresh pot of coffee when needed. The pillows were plush and large compared to other chains. The bed was large and very comfortable. The room temperature was easy to adjust and maintain. The shower was fantastic. Hot with a great showerhead, lots of water at an ideal pressure. The showerhead is high enough for taller guests.

The carpet was stained. The TV was a little finicky and would lose signal. The in room coffee was stocked for just a single guest - one coffee cup, one condiment packet, one regular coffee keurig pod. A check-in packet for each guest with cups, coffee or tea and condiments could be offered without putting more or less than would be needed in the rooms. We didn't know until morning (3AM) that we didn't have enough cups or coffee for both of us. However, the coffee bar was just an elevator ride away. The toilet did not flush well, and took multiple flushes holding down the lever.

The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate. I needed extra sheets and pillows for the pull out couch and they did not hesitate to fulfill that need. I’m not really sure the names of the employees but they worked on 2-21-22.

The other people staying there. There were a large group of kids staying there that had foul mouthes around my kids. Not cool but the staff took control of the situation promptly.

The staff was very polite and willing to work with me on straightening out my stay once I arrived. The breakfast was great. Shower was hot.

The bed mattress was very soft and not comfortable for me. I wish the bed mattress was at least a medium firmness.

Very large room host was very nice breakfast attendant for friendly.

Surface of the room looked very clean but none of lamps on the nightstand were plugged in so we found a pop bottle behind the nightstand plugging in the lamp the chair had all kinds of crumbs in it even the office chair had wrappers under the seat.

The kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast. I really loved that coffee was ready and waiting. I'm not much into using the messy in room coffee cups.

Our room didn't get vacuumed while we were away shopping. I don't blame the staff I believe they were under staffed. I really wish there was a hot tub.

Called to get early check in they accommodated us with out hesitation. There was a group of us and we wanted to play cards in the evening, the young lady turned the lights on for us and even asked if we wanted refreshments. Awesome staff! Room was clean and fresh. Thank you sooo much.

Breakfast was great. Especially with having having kid they live the pancake machine.

They heat in the room didn’t work well.. the kids were cold after getting out the pool and showering. It took a long time to get hot..
