Days Inn by Wyndham Whitmore Lake

We travelled for our nephew college graduation at University of Michigan, a short drive from Whitmore Lake. The hotel was very convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean. The hotel was across the street from a large, informal bar and grill with a large menu and delicious food.

This is an older, no frills facility and we paid a premium because of graduation weekend in nearby Ann Arbor, but the room was spacious and comfortable, so we really have no complaints. Our room faced the freeway, which was pretty loud, rather than Whitmore Lake, which was just pretty.

Front desk personnel was very friendly and accommodating. We had a sudden schedule change and she was able to let us check in an hour early.

We did check in an hour early, but our room looked as if it was just glossed over in the cleaning department. There were clothes left from a previous guest in the wardrobe, very little toilet paper on the rolls, and I don't think the toilet or shower were scrubbed at all.

The refrigerator wasn't keep items cold at all

This was a good location for our destination. Staff was very helpful. My granddaughter loved the pool. We were able to have the puppy with us. No complaints.

Has nothing to do with the hotel but there seemed to be no public access to the lake.

location to restaurants- fireworks- parade…family in area

found cockroach in room when plugging in my c-pac machine….showed it to cleaning staff who said she’d report to office….never heard back from anyone…kept checking for any sign of other creatures🙁

being able to pull the car up to our room was awesome, we stayed two nights and the cleaning staff gave us fresh towels each day, etc

due to Covid the pool wasn’t open and they didn’t have continental breakfast either but I don’t blame them for that it was just a bummer

Older but nice ‘motel’ right off the highway. Clean room with comfortable king bed. Nice indoor pool that we did not use. Have stayed here before and would stay here again. Good value for the money.

Coffee machine had hot water but no tea bags.

Didn't participate in breakfast. Staff was very kind, room was clean, and area was very nice. Loved the great restaurant across the street,

Check in was easy and the most friendly desk clerk I ever encountered! She shared so much information in such an easy manner and also Volunteered to even checked the future weather for me! I can not clearly remember here name but it was beautiful and meant the top of the mountain!

Room was huge and two king beds was awesome

Give breakfast besides a cearal bar ..Maybe bagels and donuts or something
