Comfortable beds, actual breakfast included in room price, front desk staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. Plenty of towels in the room for our stay. Room was easy to keep a comfortable temperature. Quiet. Saw them consistently mopping the main areas and elevator floor. Room was clean, bathroom could use a deep clean, but it wasn't too bad.

Pool area had peoples hair accumulated in areas and visible dirt, which made it difficult to enjoy and it was way too hot in there. The sliding bathroom door in the room, I got my toe slammed in it when my husband tried to unstick it then it went really fast. The first morning (Sunday) breakfast was awesome, the ladies were on top of re stocking and cleaning up, refilling coffee, helpful ,etc. Our second morning (today, Monday) coffee was consistently empty, there was no dark coffee, food wasn't hot, and all the counters were messy, crumbs everywhere, waffle station was out of several toppings. The lighting in the exercise room was obnoxiously bright, I wish it could be adjusted by guests.

Fairly clean property the breakfast was delicious and honestly I don’t think I’ve ever met a nicer hotel staff. Becca was the greeter when we came in and she was phenomenal and so funny and entertaining. It was a pleasure to meet her and overall we just had a great time. 

The only bad part we could find an even at that that was a stretch was the bathroom was starting to get a little mildew in the ceiling, but it was so minor that it didn’t deter us whatsoever. It was just typical wear and tear on the bathroom. 

Breakfast was good on Monday. On Sunday, the bagel toppers were awful. I would skip that item on the menu. Scrambled eggs were great! The staff person who checked me in on Saturday, Nov. 5 was so welcoming, nice and friendly.

The staff on Sunday were not very considerate. I was buying a diet coke. I was about to give staff person 1 my money when another staff person 2 interrupted to tell person 1 something. Person 1 proceeded to ignore me to do something on the computer. In the meantime person 2 decided to help the customer who was behind me in line. So I had to wait what seemed like ages to pay for my diet coke. Why couldn't person 2 handle the transaction while person 1 was busy on the computer? No staff person on Sunday and Monday were as nice and welcoming as the person on Saturday night.

Breakfast was full of choices. Very well done and presented. Eating areas were comfortable and clean.

We had to bring our two small dogs and it was a shock to pay $75 extra. We last paid about $10 extra. When we checked in and I paid cash to cover $75 so husband wouldn’t know and was told that $25 would be refunded at the end. I guess it depends on who’s at front desk. I mentioned getting $25 back when turning in key and was told that wouldn’t be happening. Ugh

EVERYTHING! From calling Becca to request early check in after a red eye to every staff member I came in contact with to Natalie at checkout, I decided to rebook do another night later this week. the room was perfectly appointed, exceptionally clean and the dispensers for soap, shampoo, body wash, hand soap and conditioner are brilliant. Even the ac and automated blinds and shades were highly efficient. the breakfast, pool and fitness center were outstanding. I loved everything about my stay there!

When we travel, comfort as well as value, is very important. Hampton Inn Howell hit both those marks. The beds were soft but firm. The breakfast was delicious with quite a variety to choose from. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We hughly recommend them and would definitely stay there again.

The one and only thing that I would have liked would to have was a room with a bath tub.

We were so impressed. It was clean and new and every single person was friendly and authentic. My friend and I just kept saying how perfect everything was. And unbelievably the coffee was the best ever!! (hotel coffee always sucks.) The bed was so comfy and the pillows were better than mine at home. And although it was right next to the highway, we didn’t hear a thing!! Such a great visit.

The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. They greeted you everytime you walked in and many called our daughter by her name. The room was very large and the hotel was very clean. It was new, but they were doing a great job of keeping it really nice.

Very clean room, good breakfast, friendly staff and the pool was warm.

Kind of high prices and the pool area was always out of towels. Also, the coat rack in our room broke pretty easily, and the cord to the TV was loose, so it wasn't working until my husband fixed it.

Went to the MI football game. It was close enough to get us there easily from Muskegon originally. The staff were super friendly. Only negative, the television guide didn't work. Food was good. Extremely clean. Would stop again.
