Super 8 by Wyndham Duluth

Comfortable room, excellent chair, giant bed, good Internet, solid refrigerator, impeccable staff; friendly and professional all around. We hadn't planned on staying the night, but because of a change in travel plans, we adapted. We're both experienced travelers but I was a little nervous about the reviews. Couldn't have been more put at ease. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Easy Uber into town (not cheap $14 each way... But easy if you want to experience some night life). Greatly appreciated our stay. Thank you!

Nice sized TV. Slept well on the bed. Helpful staff.

Not enough light over the sink...hard to see to shave and for my wife to put on makeup.

This location reminds us of the earlier years of Super 8. Our more recent stays at Super 8s have not been the best experience for us. At one the nonsmoking had a strong tobacco smell, another the in room fridge didn't work at all. This location everything was very nice also it is pretty central for the family visiting we go to Duluth for. It's first on our list for a place to stay in the area.

The only thing I really wish were different is the lack of sidewalks in the area. When we stay out of town I like to walk to a nearby convenience store or cafe. While these are in the area the lack of sidewalks make it a pain to get to them. No fault of the motel of course.

The staff were wonderful and very friendly. Very quiet at night even with all the other guests there. Our room was very clean. The location was good only being 5 minutes from Canal Park and 10 minutes from North Shore Drive.

The beds after two days started hurting the lower back but could be my age lol. Wish the bathroom was a little bigger. Very little counter space around the sink.

Clean rooms. Prompt service. We came late and we could make tea and coffee. Many tea varieties which i loved. Staff were so nice.

There were no eggs or chicken options. We do not eat beef and pork so we just ate other stuff like waffles , toast , oats and cornflakes. Im diabetic would have loved eggs. All were sugary stuff. Atleast boiled eggs would have been good. The breakfast display was clean and individually place so thate we do not touch other breads etc. Which was nice. But we will stay there once again.

Kind and personable staff! Cozy entry, and room was quiet, and comfortable. Generally VERY clean, tho someone forgot to clean one thing, and staff took care of it right away. The rest is the stay was just fine.

Very nice overall, but a little more expensive then we are used to for a super 8, without more amenities.

Room was nice, love the big picture headboard.

We had a dog, so we were put on the 1st floor by the door. Unfortunately it was a revolving door of people heading outside probably due to the people across the hall, which unfortunately made our dog bark to alert of of possible danger. It was very apparent they were smoking Marijuana as it was filling up the hallway. Didn't come into the our room so it wasn't a big deal. Next time we will be sure to request a room not at the end by the door. If you have pets you may want to think about this situation as well.. it was a good stay overall and I would recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, quiet and easy access. The bed was comfortable, super nice cleaning staff, very helpful with a smile. It was quiet, no interuptions, adequate amenties.

The bathroom was small, would have liked a place to put my toiletries bag, etc.Breakfast was adequate, a pastry or egg choice would have been nice, but what was there was good and filling.

Reception staff very helpful, especially because we had a service dog and Booking.com did not sign us up for the correct room

Booking.com needs to be up-to-date on service dog accommodations and offer a no-charge option. Luckily, there was a dedignated pet room available. ADA requires no additional charge for service animal but we were charged an extra $10.00 pet fee.

With coming from Canada, we always pay cash for our stays in the US. Before we even check in, our room has been charged to our card, but when we get the refund put back on the card, it never is the amount that we get charged to begin with. When we make reservations in the US, we always tell them we are paying cash. We even pay on check in now, just to make sure it doesn't get put on our card before we check out.
