Residence Inn Duluth

The room was spacious and organized well. The appliances were excellent. Noise levels were low. We liked the blackout shades. The room and property were very clean. The access to the dog exercise area was excellent.

We left our garbage in the hallway before 2 pm as directed to be picked up. The unit across the hall from us left out their garbage at the same time. Their garbage was picked up but ours was not. We then spoke twice with the front desk staff that night. The first time we spoke (by phone), we were told that the garbage would be picked up shortly. The second time, we went to the front desk and spoke with a desk attendant in person. She informed us that the cleaning staff was very busy and would be picking up our garbage the next day. Yet, the cleaning staff had picked up the garbage from the opposite unit. All of it was in the hallway at the same time. We then had to use our own bag for more garbage as the bag supplied by the hotel was full and there were no extra bags in the unit.

Breakfast options were good - I enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches the most but there was plenty of variety ranging from eggs, fruit, cereal, etc. The room itself was also really great since it had a kitchenette. We only stayed a few nights but this made our stay much nicer since we could make some of our own meals. The room size was perfect for us to set up a pack and play for our toddler and still have room in the space to move around freely.

The bed and pillows were too fluffy for my liking. I ended up being so uncomfortable that I slept without the pillows and really only dozed in and out the entire night.

It was the coldest weekend all winter. -20 to -30 out. Our vehicle is use to be in a heated garage. It did not start both mornings. The manager on saturday was so kind to give us a jump. To me that is above and beyond. Well Sunday morning it didnt even want to turn over. The manager was not working and we were unable to get it jumped. So we had to call around and the cheapest we found was $120. That was an ouch! People were friendly and the accommodations were wonderful!

Nothing that was due to the motel. It was just the cold cold weather and the vehicle would not start both mornings. And it is not an old vehicle either. Has never caused a trouble before.

The location was easy to access for the Bayfront Blues Festival and all the comforts of home were outstanding!

We had an issues with the caps off of the closet shelves, and I ended up in urgent care for stitches in my hand and a tetnes shot. We told the gentelmen at the front desk and he had it fixed prior to us coming back from the festival grounds.

Breakfast was good for hotels, fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, yogurt

The price was pretty high....but its summer time

It was a BUSY night and weekend and the hotel was at capacity. The team was 100% nice from checking Friday nite, to chatting with the front desk and the breakfast room organizer about 10 mins to open to the maintenance guy who spoke about the roads. Kudos!

Breakfast was good hot breakfast always a plus.

Easier to navigate to had a hard time finding the entrance when coming from the north.

Breakfast, how nice the rooms were, the dishes and silverware that were available. Beautiful rooms!!!!

Just when we weren't able to use the Pool, it was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel, and location.

Breakfast was hot and excellent. Eggs and sausage with many options to choose from outside of the mail course. the location on the north side of city was great. Nice get away from Canal Park.

I didn’t like the idea of switching us over to the Hampton in on short notice. We had to stay at Hampton in, so I can’t rate the Resdence Inn.
