Candlewood Suites Hattiesburg, an IHG Hotel

Nice and Quiet, AC worked fantastic on our hottest days yet. A Very Safe Area; That is the most important part of my travels. Staff was very attentive; from front desk clerks, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance too. Thank you for making my and Lucas's stay a safe and cozy one.

First night I couldnt figure out where the shower diverter was, (a little note might help others). I have never seen a shower diverter like in the bathroom and with 22 hours straight driving on the road I was very frustrated and grumpy. lol opps But the front desk clerks knew exactly what was wrong and told me how to use shower. I stayed for near two weeks, and I always straighten up my room as to not take advantage of the hospitality and helpful housekeeping. Thank you girls very much for all the smiling faces!

The location! An I also loved the size and the convenience of my room.

I didn't like the idea of the housekeeper half cleaning our carpet. They didn't vacuum at all! Because I found pet hair EVERYWHERE!! An I'm highly allergic to dogs and cats. Also, out commode overflowed an that really discussed me. Also, our lightbulbs were missing in 2 lamps. So there were hardly no light in the dinnig part. But, other than that. Everything was fine.

The entrance was nice and clean. The manager on duty, I think her name is Amber, was very nice even after 10 pm when we were checking in. She was very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and very nice. It felt like home away from home with all the full size amenities. I will definitely come back and recommend to anyone coming to or near Hattiesburg.

It was late when we arrived and our door wouldn’t unlock. We got keys twice before the manager came up to try also. It turned out well though. She found another room.

The bedroom was off to itself☺️

We left out of our room for a couple of hours and when we returned. There was a man in our room fixing the phone lines. It was very uncomfortable. He said the hotel supposed to contacted us to let us know but we never got that call. Other that. It's a very nice room. However, I booked my room 2 hours b4 I arrived thru booking and when I got there they didn't see my reservation and I had to pay the hotel price

I like the large table, the convenience of having a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. Enjoy having washers and dryers. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I had a problem with the toilet in the first room I had. The room was clean. So the staff placed me in another room it wasn’t clean. So this very nice woman took time out and cleaned it herself. I really appreciated her because she was so kind and willing to help. Thank you so much for handling that situation that made my stay awesome!

The staff was very nice. Amber was exceptional! She is very professional and knows how to treat the guests respectfully. You should be glad to have this exceptional lady on your staff!😀

The room needs some upgrades and/or maintenance work throughout different areas of the room.

The rooms had been sweep, clean sheets clean towels bright white. The house keepers were extremely friendly and very kind. Make sure you overpay them and you will always have a wonderful hotel. The front desk clerks were awesome and super pleasant. My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay.

I paid online to your website booking.com then I needed an extra day added. So when I checked in, I paid more than I originally paid online. Will I be overcharged?

I needed a room with a full sized refrigerator because I was traveling with cakes. I needed somewhere to store them overnight. This room was very large and comfortable. It was just myself and my toddler but it will be great for my whole family next time we’re driving thru.
