Wingate by Wyndham Hattiesburg

Sierra was very pleasant and professional. A gentleman by the name of ( I believe) Jackson called me prior to check in to let me know they had a water leak in the building and the room I requested was affected by it. He asked me if i would be willing to take another type of room which i was good with. I appreciate him calling me ahead of time instead of waiting till i checked in to ask if it was ok because my arrival was kinda late and finding another room would have been diffcult.These 2 associates are an asset to your company.My Room was beautiful. Cool, comfortable and very roomy. . The shampoo,conditioner and body wash were a huge plus. Since I forgot mine. Thank you for a very nice stay. Will be returning.

Need a small coffee pot in the room. I had to leave very very early and breakfast does not start till 7am. Kinda hard not getting coffee before I started driving. That is my only complaint.

The staff are very friendly. They make breakfast and dinner and let me tell you they can cook! All staff here have been super friendly, very helpful, rooms were well kept and water pressure was good. They do have a tiny market for buying food and drinks, they also have a great pool which I think is possibly heated. The location is great for those traveling for work and I will be looking forward to coming back!

Water on the 3rd-4th floor does take time to heat up, about 8-10 minutes but I’m sure that will get fixed soon in the future.

I liked that it wasn’t far out of my way during my trip. That bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. It’s location was great for access to places to eat and filling up the car.

The place was under construction and why I didn’t give it a higher rating. My room did not have anything on the bottom of the door that would block the light from the hallway or muffle any noise. Breakfast was a bit lackluster as compared to other Wyndham’s I’ve stayed at. All in all it was a descent stay and would stay there again once the construction is completed.

The staff went above and beyond for us . my Dad is handicapped and the hotel staff were in the process of setting up the first floor rooms . The CEO himself helped to get dads room ready and they helped us find a tire store as our tire went flat right when we got there. I can’t thank them enough for helping us. The staff made our move to Florida so much easier. Thank you all Erika Thomas

Everything was fine.

The pool hours. It doesn't open until 10am. 1 hour before checkout. You can't take a dip before you get up and leave. It closes at 9pm. We wanted to go just sit by the pool and talk that night before going to bed, but we couldn't get in because it was already closed. We missed a beautiful night. However, there was an ample supply of towels made very available by the pool entrance.

The location was great, the staff was incredibly friendly, the facilities were clean, the room was clean, spacious recently remodeled, and had full sized pillows on the bed!!! That was a fabulous treat! We also appreciate the fact that there are full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers! That's so much "greener" than all the little bottles!

We wouldn't change a thing! This was a really great room at a great price!

Breakfast was great. Most importantly, every staff member we met was exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. It was such a blessing to encounter such happy, helpful and kind staff who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The are all truly a credit to Wyndham hotels. People like them are a rarity and a very valuable asset.

Can’t think of anything at the moment.

Breakfast was awesome.. many things to choose from.. we have stayed at this hotel for approximately 12-13 years.. wanted to try a couple around the hotel and keep coming back to Baymont/Wingate!

Pillows to sleep on are in very poor condition!! Floppy and feels like filling came apart..

Although there were several other properties around it was pleasantly quiet. This hotel is under renovations so it didn’t look the nicest. The staff was super nice and accommodating.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean. the toilet and sink were not clean. There were also used towels from the previous guest and a torn Tshirt on the lamp as if the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned.

Location was great.

The room was clean but there were stains on the tub, door wouldn’t open or close well & there was literally nothing on the bed between the mattress & the sheet which creeped me out. I definitely expected a mattress pad & even a waterproof cover or bed bug protector. The mattress was also visibly soiled. Bummer.
