Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Staff were friendly. Rooms were warm. But I had to ask to have towels refreshed and waste cans emptied

There was no breakfast. Booking.com's website stated "breakfast included" (I have a screenshot) and NOT "breakfast offered" or "Breakfast available." I paid over $1000.00 for six nights for a room that, it turns out, didn't include breakfast. I paid for the room for two reasons, 1) nearness to the place I had to go each day, 2) breakfast. I was attending a hard working workshop - I didn't want to have to worry about breakfast in the morning. As it was I paid for a frozen microwaveable breakfast each day. You guys need to get your your story straight. I was thrown quite a curve. Really, either Holiday Inn or Booking.com, owes me some money.

We didn't really stay at the Holiday Inn. I woke up to a voicemail stating there had been an issue with the reservations system and the property was oversold. The staff had already secured a room for us at the Comfort Inn, and Holiday Inn picked up the charge. The new reservation was seamless and we got a nice river view room. Great customer service!

I booked the Holiday Inn so we would be close to the river walk and central downtown. The Comfort Inn was great, but not as convenient.

I travelled to to Missoula for the marathon. The entire staff was extremely friendly and energetic. I really appreciated the morning shuttle to the Marathon start area.

The walk to our room was almost comically long. You have to walk around the entire building to get to some rooms. It would have been much more convenient if there was an alternative entrance to save that small inconvenience.

I have stayed here 3 times in the past several months and the location is the beat in Missoula. Right next to river, trails, and downtown

This is the first first disappointing room I have stayed in. Bathroom had walls that are marked up. Shower is unacceptable due to nothing to sit soap or shampoo on other than the floor especially consdering it is supposed to be handicapped shower. I am not handicapped but felt I also could slip in this shower if I did not hang onto supports. ( handicapped room was all that was available when I booked the room, yet someone right before me walked in without a reservation and received a room...understandably there are cancellations)

The hotel was conveniently located and pet friendly. We traveled with a service dog in training. The hotel responded almost immediately stating they could meet the special request required for my disabled family member.

The price was a bit heavier than expected, going up $30 from the day before we booked until we booked. For that price I would have expected breakfast to be included.

The staff was so generous to my VIP (my son had to have surgery in Missoula) all his special requests were honored- a room on the top floor AND he got to keep his room card. The generosity of the desk staff made our night much better.

There were no healthy foods I could buy in the Marketplace- Missoula has some great bakeries! Or some fresh fruit? It felt like a gas station (common, stale offerings.)

Staff was 5 star! From the shuttle driver to the night staff, all were attentive, smiling, sincere and very helpful! This is an extremely rare phenomenon in today’s world.

Room furnishings need some attention-The window shade had a huge stain and should be replaced, and the bathtub looked to have permanent staining and the closet door struggled to stay in the track.

This has been our go-to hotel over the years. The location is excellent and close to all of the best downtown restaurants and shops, Caras Park and of course the river.

The price has gone up astronomically over the past couple of years. We may have to consider staying at a different hotel in the future as a result.

Hotel location was fantastic for accessing all the downtown restaurants, park, etc. Parking onsite was free and easy. Delicious cookies each afternoon for guests! Staff was friendly. Room was a good size, clean, and comfortable with black out curtains. Our second room wasn't as updated as the first room, but it was still nice.

We had an issue with our hotel door not locking properly.

The staff at this hotel was phenomenal!! The downtown location was perfect & walking distance to all we needed. Hotel shuttle was a plus & will take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius, therefore we did not need to rent a car!!
