Americas Best Value Inn Winnemucca

Breakfast: over by the time I arrived. However coffee was ready & excellent; better than most restaurants! Had it twice during my stay. Location: nice, mountain view but off a busy (Blvd) setting. Traffic noise didnt disturb sleep very much. Easter weekend may have contributed to quieter stay. My room exceeded expectations, for price I paid. So clean everything was! Even bedspread had been freshly changed. Fridge, microwave & coffeemaker - newer, clean & working well. New tv with lots of channels to choose from. Adequate combo heater/air conditioner.

Electronic key malfunctioning. Upon arrival, my key had already been activated but needed reactivation. That required my going across street to Econo Lodge. I did this twice 😒 & key still wouldn't unlock room door. I requested a different room. Reception cheerfully complied. That room key worked great - no problems.

The room was very nicely appointed, although we didn't stay in that room because it was already occupied! So they moved us over to the EconoLodge, which was also quite nice. The EconoLodge breakfast was very nice: make your own waffles and pancakes, dry cereals, yogurt, oranges, Wonder Bread bagels, plus great coffee. Prices are insignificantly different among the dozen motels in town, so the deciding factor in Winnemucca has to be the quality of the rooms. ALSO, don't miss the amazing local museum!!

Finding someone occupying "our" room.

The room we stay was after remodeling, clean, fresh. The towels clean, shampoo, conditioner, lotion provided. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine in a room, coffee provided.

The bed is not so comfortable, bed base metallic and created the noise with little move, good audibility , you can hear when the neighbor talking or coughing. Parking is difficult. If you’re coming late for check in, nobody there, you have to do late check in one block at Econo Lodge Inn, in general the staff is nice and friendly.

It was pet friendly (we were traveling with our dog), the room we were in had been completely renovated since our last stay at this hotel. If you’ve stayed here previously you might be surprised.

We had to go to a nearby hotel to register and to pick up breakfast. I believe they have a staffing shortage as 1 manager was handling both hotels. Also, and this was minor to us, there was no place to hang anything up.

It was very nice for the most part. Microwave and fridge. Good parking. Mostly clean.

This might just be a me thing but I hate when a shower doesn't have a shelf of any kind for razors or shampoos or anything. I either had to set my things on the floor of the shower or reach out and set them on the back of the toilet. The room was mostly clean but the floor was gross.

Room was very clean, but we had a problem with the doors lock getting in and out of the room. The office person took care of the problem. And she was very smart not charging us for our little dog in lieu of a discount for my husband who is a veteran. Way to go!

We did want the first floor but had to take the second floor instead.

This was an unexpected stop on trip due to technical difficulties. Satellite issues meant no tv during the night causing distractions. Management offered to let us move rooms & we declined. It was the best sleep I had since leaving my home. The beds & pillows were some of the best I've ever slept on & I'm kind of regretting the fact I didn't look to see brand & model or type that they were. Brand new remodeled room & it felt safe & secure.

The satellite tv didn't work but that just led to a very restful night of sleep.

Got in about 5:30pm. Sign on office door directed us to check in at another motel a block away😒. Supposed to be an ADA room. No grab bars in bathroom or shower.

I liked everything ESPECIALLY the staff who helped me find my way there after I got disoriented and messed up on my directions! Once there they were really helpful and friendly, too! The property has recently undergone a serious renovation so the place was in really good shape. No complaints there!

Nothing. It was all good!

Very comfortable, updated rooms. We were traveling with our two pets and the Motel's pet rate was better than anywhere else. That was great! Super friendly staff as well!

It got a bit noisy out in the parking lot through the late hours as other guests arrived. Expected as it was a Full House by midnight!
