Days Inn by Wyndham Winnemucca

INCREDIBLY CLEAN!!!!! It is the first thing you notice. So this IS a motel NOT a hotel, so plan accordingly 😊 Everything seemed new on the inside of the room. Staff was excellent, very helpful.

These are not complaints, but things to consider for diff people: Room while very nice is VERY small. This is a ranching, Nevada gambling town and is rugged, dusty and rural. WiFi while fast initially will diminish rapidly as people show up at night, but in the morning Upload and Download speeds were blazing. The manager told me they paid extra each month for that kind of connectivity. Hotel room cleaning begins at 7AM, they are not playing 😂 All you have to do is put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and is no problem, but you WILL get a knock if you forget.

The young man at the checkin was great ! All of a sudden t here was a line, and he got everyone checked in fast. Was helpful about the area to. But the real star was my cleaning lady and I wish would have got her name. I checked out early and happen to run into her and said hi, and let her know I was out. I no sooner got to my car when I heard her yell. I had forgotten my nice side sleeper pillow. She brought it to me and I was so grateful but regret not getting her name. I checked out Wednesday morning. I will be traveling back through soon and will definitively stay again.

The smell of the A/c was musty

I normally stay at Holiday Inn or similar. I was browsing hotels and saw this hotel in Winnemucca at a very affordable 75$.  I clicked on it, mostly expecting to humor myself with reading what I thought would be poor reviews...  (On Booking.com). To my surprise, this motel had some pretty decent reviews!    I was going to be on a road trip..  I decided to give it a try despite the suspiciously low price. On arrival the outside was decent... Typical appearance of a Nevada motel that's been baking in the sun.  The front desk gentleman was extremely professional and welcoming. Upon entering my room, I was impressed with a spotlessly clean room.. I always find a few hairs in the bathroom of much nicer hotels or whatnot, but this room was spotless!   The decor was in really good shape.   It was slightly smaller than the 3223 sq ft it shows on booking. Com. LOL or was about 323 aq ft . The plumbing showed the history of this building.. different knob for hot and cold in the shower... And it came out at about 500 gallon per minute on the tub mode.. LOL. Despite old, but clean, plumbing fixtures the rest of the room had decor similar to any nice Holiday Inn. It was very quite. I didn't hear any other guests. Parking was about 60% full. I've got no complaints.  This is a great place to stay if your stopping for the night.. Great job by the staff and owner keeping this place comfortable and clean.

The motel honored our request for the room location. Even though the motel is on a busy street, it is far enough back that we did not hear any road noise. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was available to take back to the room or take "to go" which we did. It was available from 6 am. Staff were very friendly.

No eggs available at breakfast, but there's a breakfast restaurant a few blocks away that opens at 6 am.

As a single traveler, I was welcomed with a friendly and courteous hello! the room was wonderfully clean and comfortable; hot water with a working shower and toilet; comfy pillows; and the tv and wifi reception was great. The breakfast in the cozy lobby was so good -- fresh (and I mean fresh) apples; selection of yogurts; soft bagels with toaster available; waffle maker ! Thank you for your service:-)

Side table light flickered when turned on; then, once on for a wee bit, just fine. I left a note for the staff. Everything was so very nice after a long drive.

Easy access to our ground floor room. The room was very clean and it has been upgraded, the king bed was really comfortable. The options for the breakfast was varied and pretty good. It is easy and fast to get to the Days Inn from the highway.

A very noisy pick up truck that started at 6h30... But this has nothing to do with the hotel obviously. I would suggest to have a shower curtain in the accessibily room's shower, because the water goes all over the floor in the bathroom.

We were lucky to have a ground floor room, which was comfortable and next to our car parked. We also had a good selection of items for our continental breakfast at reception to take to our room. Staff in reception were very friendly and accommodating. We needed to have some freezer packs frozen and the staff assisted.

The fridge was small and had no freezer. The microwave worked ok. A kettle would have been helpful too.

I was greeted by the nicest gal when I checked in!! She really set the tone for the stay after a long drive from Donnelly, ID. I needed a book to read and after chatting about books for a few minutes, she suggested the Thrift Store around the corner! I'd much rather do thrift than big stores!! The room was super clean! Bed was soo comfy!! Happy to have Direct TV and mini fridge! If I ever come thru W I will def stay here AND will recommend to all who ask!!

This is an old style hotel where you walk up the steps in there’s just too long floors. I wasn’t expecting much. However, it was incredibly well updated and clean. I was really surprised they have nicely it had been updated and managed. It reminded me of the Hampton Inn’s we usually stay in. It reminded me of the Hampton Inn’s we usually stay in.

An elevator would’ve been nice but I really didn’t expect it there. Everything else exceeded my expectations.

Rooms were clean, well lit and had everything we needed. Check in was fast, fridge, microwave and coffee makers in rooms. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and all the linens were fresh and clean as well. It was fairly quiet and in a convenient part of town.

The bed was a little hard for my taste, and we HATE the small square pillows. Please bring back the larger pillows!
