Winnemucca Holiday Motel

Room was very clean. Staff cordial and helpful. Request for early arrival granted with no problem. The breakfast was more than adequate. Appreciated the fact that rooms have refrigerator, microwave and coffee in room.

For the money, this is a wonderful place to stay. The pool is nice and room is big. The lobby does not provide bottled water but they do have a water dispenser of filtered water. Plenty to fill your water bottles before leaving the premises.

The bathroom was small and the compressor in the refrigerator made noice. I simply unplugged the refrigerator and plugged it back in before we left. Also, the breakfast was fine and quick but I always expect more when the advertisement for the hotel indicates that breakfast is included.

This place doesn't just allow pets, it positively welcomes them. (Along with the wifi password, the info sheet tells you the best field to take your dog for a walk, for example.) Both the staff desk clerks I talked to were unusually friendly and helpful.

No complaints!

Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Needs to be updated. Carpet needs to be stretched and maybe even replaced. Curb appeal is bad. Walkways need to be repainted and outdoor carpeting needs to be replaced. Dirty and badly worn.

Being right on the corner it is difficult to get in and out of the property. Road work on the side street was annoying while we were there. The property looks old, looked better in pictures on the internet.

This is an oldish motel but has been nicely upgraded within structural limitations. Good location, quiet, clean and well maintained. Mary, the new manager, checked us in and was helpful, friendly, informative and supplied dog treats! An excellent place for traveling with pets. Breakfast had varied offerings and the approach of taking tray to room was creative. Keurig coffee maker in room. Truly no complaints. Would stay again. Did not give a 10 because it is a “dated” older style place which has some limitations —- bathrooms small and our dog seemingly wants to accompany us everywhere.

This is a small motel which is nice for that small town vibe and more personal attention from the staff. The rooms were clean and the beds were fairly comfortable but a queen size bed would have been better than a full.

When we checked in the pool had a closed sign on the gate yet later at around 9pm there was a lady and 2 kids in the pool, the next day during our check out my husband mentioned this and the employee was a little rude and insisted that it wasn’t closed and there was not a closed sign. That said I would still stay again if I needed to.

Room was cold, although it was warm outside (on the 100F) Staff, that greeted and check us in, was very polite and fast. Room and bathroom were clean. Mini fridge, as well as a microwave oven in the room. Prepacked breakfast (boiled eggs, bagels, coffee, cereal, yogurt, cookies) in the reception area, that you eat in your room. Location is nice and hotel can be reached easily from the highway and walking distance to many restaurants in the city. There is a small fenced pool in the premises.

This was my 3rd or 4th time spending one night in this location, spread out over 3 years. It is approximately 250 miles from my home and makes a great overnight stopover. Rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and have the necessary amenities (TV, small refrigerator, one serving Keurig coffee maker, etc.). Pets are welcome ($15 charge). HUGE step-up from the 2 Motel 6s we overnighted in during this 6-day trip. Breakfast is included and was quite popular with the guests!

I'm not a nit picker.

I loved this hotel. First, the bed and pillow were very comfy. The room had 3 ergonomic chairs and one easy chair. There was a table where one could eat the free breakfast. Because of covid, the breakfast was take away, hard boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, granola bars, doughnuts etc. The bathroom had a make-up mirror that could be adjusted. We did not hear any outside noise. The pool was a nice size and the water was crystal clear.

At this hotel, everything was to my liking.

Clean room, friendly service, pet friendly and even gave treats and dog area right outside room. Great location, easy on/off freeway. Close casino if that is why you stay, plenty of food options within an easy drive, gave discount coupon for dinning as well which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with pets. Nice continental breakfast with plenty of options for travelers.

To many kids in pool for adults without children to enjoy, it was hot enough to swim but with kids jumping in and out of pool not worth it for me however if traveling with kids it was a great spot to enjoy the pool on a hot day. As a kid not a lot to do so the pool was excellent option for them.
