Homewood Suites by Hilton Dover

The front desk was amazing. They were polite and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were great. The actual room was phenomenal; 2 rooms-1 with our beds and one with the living room and kitchen area. It had everything we needed. And the restaurant Margarita’s is literally in your parking lot!

The only issue we had was a weird smell from something to do with maintenance in the hallway but it was not constant. The breakfast was good but my kids were bummed no bacon at all after being there for 5 mornings.

We stayed with my oldest and some of her friends to celebrate her birthday. The room was bigger than expected, breakfast was amazing, and the kids had a blast in the pool!! The staff was kind and attentive; the ladies in the kitchen were especially sweet and friendly to our daughter and her friends-helping them with the waffle machine, asking questions about her birthday and if they were having fun, etc. I have never experienced such attentive staff during a hotel stay. Kudos to you, Homewood Suites!

Very clean, comfortable and spacious king room. Loved the idea of having a full refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave besides having the option of a full (very tasty) breakfast. Plus there is a Margaritas restaurant on the property.

The only thing I didn't like was .... well, nothing. I liked everything about it and will be back! I suppose I could complain that room service was every 4 to 5 days. But I would rather everyone be safe (covid). I don't mind making my own bed!

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast, pleasant people at the front desk, comfortable bed (mattress not too hard), plenty of space in the room, loved the ceiling fan above the bed, proximity to Margaritas. (There can be noise after the restaurant/bar closes on weekends. Request a room in the back of the hotel.)

We are a family group and enjoy the space within one suite. The kitchen is also a bonus as it is not so easy to take my elderly mother-in-law to restaurants.

The breakfast was not quite as good as some of the other Homewood Suites that we have stayed in. The eggs were overcooked and the yogurt was not labeled. Also, I would prefer to have real dishes rather than throw away. Food tastes better and it is good for the environment.

Every single staff member I interacted with was exceptional. Very helpful and friendly. The facility was beautiful. We had a room with a full kitchen (well no oven, but there was a stove top) and it came with everything you would need, plates, pans, silverware, etc. They even had a laundry room! (We didn't use it because we were only there for 2 nights, but it was there!!) The hot breakfast had a very good variety and it changed both mornings. If we're ever in Dover again, we'll definitely use this hotel again!! Plus the kids fully approved (my kids are huge hotel fans and are very critical of them.... LoL)

Not all the jets in the hot tub worked, but the kids still loved it!! The shower could use an update, but it was still nice. And they need more hooks to hang towels in the bathroom (but I find this an issue with all hotels).

Everything was great. I have stayed here before with My family. Only downfall was how uncomfortable the pull out couch was, given that we gave the children the comfortable beds. We sucked it up for the couple of days.. leaving poor sleep. However Everything else was clean and friendly, will definitely be back again!

The room was a nice size, separate living room with couch and tv. We had 4 people so it was nice to have the extra space. Full use of kitchen with refrigerator, even had a dishwasher. Overall it was a nice spacious room. Full hot and cold breakfast every morning.

Housekeeping could do a bit better checking the rooms between guests. The pull out couch bed still had crumbs and stuff at the bottom. Found a few items left in refrigerator and drawer. During this Covid time, cleaning is a must between guests.

Beth, Was our primary breakfast server while staying for past 9 days. She always greeted us with a smile and even learned I enjoyed ice tea with my breakfast each morning & had a cup of ice ready for me. She's awesome!!! Front desk staff was also very helpful and always available if needed. Pool and hot tub were great to have , got to swim and relax with our grandchildren while we were here. Hotel also has a nice shaded lawn area outback to sit and enjoy the birds singing.

Homewood suites is a favourite for sure. Nice suites, lots of nice details. Very comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful. Love a full kitchen, plates, glasses, etc.

Nothing. I look forward to staying at Homewood Suites. I hope the prices remain reasonable.
