Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Portsmouth Exeter

Unfortunately, we overslept the first day and so didn't get breakfast. And the second and third morning we ate at our daughter's house. So I can't comment on the food. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and clean.

I thought the combination of wall paper and carpeting in the halls was ugly but ,overall, tht isn't important. I really missed not having a digital clock.

The room was extremely clean and a very good size for the price. When asked we were supplied with an extra cot for one of our friends for no additional cost. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My only complaint about the hotel room was that I wish the curtains supplied a little more coverage and privacy—the sun woke us up early and because we were on the first floor I was a little freaked out by us being so visible to people in the parking lot. This is a VERY minor complaint though!

Everyone was ver nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good actually.

They did a nice job. The entry was kind of hard to find. They should have a sign from the road indicating entry here.

The breakfast was excellent. Hot and good choices.

Outside signage was limited due to a recent storm. Felt a temporary lighted sign would have been helpful. My husband was not a fan of the mattresses.

A good modern hotel in a conveniently central position with very friendly staff.

Breakfast was the usual formulaic hotel offering.

Great staff, very clean, quiet, plenty of room and close to dragway. Close to highway, eateries and pharmacy right around the corner. Contemporary decor.

Room was comfortable, plenty of lighting. Lots of nice big towels. Breakfast pork sausage was good.

Breakfast scrambled eggs were not good - powdered eggs, perhaps? Hard boiled ones were okay. Would have liked fresh fruit but it did not come out until I was leaving.

Everything was very good except the fact that we didn’t have Wi-Fi, even though is advertised as having it.

Clean, quiet. Comfortable mattress. Convenient desk area. Good lighting options.

Unfortunately, due to Covid, they did not serve breakfast. The "bagged breakfast" that was offered was at least a token alternative but no substitute. After a day of training out in the cold I missed a heat lamp in the bathroom, lol. First world problems.

The staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. A nice stay for someone wanting to go to the beach but not stay on hampton beach.

The Fairfield sign at the entrance is hard to spot at night.
