Fireside Inn & Suites West Lebanon

The Fireside is a true gem. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. The hotel has a classic feel and is well-maintained. Parking is ample and easy. Although the hotel is in the midst of the shopping and dining area of West Lebanon and right off Interstate 89, it has a secluded, woodsy feel that goes along with the post and beam resort atmosphere of the lobby, garden dining area, and indoor pool room. The buffet breakfast is always a treat with loads of options. This is a phonemenal place to bring the whole family!

The pool area was great and seemed well maintained. The breakfast was very good... though unfortunately they were out of some foods when I went to make my breakfast... the fish and turtles were a great touch. Really liked that hot chocolate was available in the entrance. That was a nice touch and added to the experience for my 9 year old son. The lady at the counter was accommodating to my son's request to have a room on the second floor. The moose stuffy that was in the room (with the proceeds going to charity) was also a very nice touch. My son was very happy to bring this little guy home, knowing that the money was going to help other children. The moose was super soft and cuddly too.

I didn't like that there was a soap left in the shower from the previous occupant... gross. Also, a bit bummed about the free whoopie pie situation... we were supposed to get free ones upon check in. A nice little added treat that the kiddo was looking forward to... but... they were out of them. It would have been nice if we were offered the cookies (lesser value) as a substitution... but no...

This property is so quaint! It has a roaring fireplace when you walk in, and a coi fish pond with little bridge that leads into an open dining area with small bar. They also do breakfast buffet style in the am there. The entire lobby is visible upon entering and is so warm and inviting. So many seating areas Rouns the place, including a chess table and free (deluxe!) Massage chair. They even have a small mini convenience/ gift shop on site in case you forget anything or need a late night snack. Huuuge pool area with even more seating. Hot tub was the perfect way to end a night. 3 nights with 3 kids and this definitely kept us busy while we weren't out visiting family!

Definitely needs a deep clean. Lots of dust but it almost needed it to have the same effect of a country cabin!

The magic of our experience started the instant we wake in the front door to a cracking fire in the stone hearth. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and the complementary whoopie pies didn't hurt. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, in spite of the hotel being full of students at an athletic meet. A remarkable buffet breakfast was served in a garden room off the lobby and pool area. We will definitely return, and we will definitely try other properties owned by the same company.

The hot tub was almost continuously- occupied during our stay, so we didn't get to use it. This, however, was not the fault of the hotel. It was just a busy weekend. I would recommend, though, that if the hotel is busy when you stay you plan your hot tub use for odd hours like the late morning or early afternoon.

This hotel was very rustic and comfy. The pool and hot tub were very clean and enjoyable. They have a dining area that serves food that was good and the vibe with the trees and lights with the pond and fish were very cool.

There isn't much we didn't like here but u can tell that they eventually will need some upgrades here and there. Maybe add a little something inside that pool area or up on the 2nd level like a ping pong table or something for kids to do. The only other thing that was the room walls were super thin you could hear everything goin in in the room next to you.

Breakfast buffet was very good - good selection, fresh fruit and yogurt along with the normal breakfast buffet staples. My son really enjoyed the French Toast as well.

The young man at the front counter seems lost and not very with it - didn't tell me we needed to come back every day to get new breakfast buffet tickets - could have told me that at check in..... - also, it took the clerk almost 10 minutes to figure out the computer to ring up two ice creams and two cookies......archaic system

On the outshirts of town close to Hwy. Quiet locale. Expansive car park. Typical room size. Hotel is 'split level' so stairs required to reach some rooms.Comfortable beds. Satisfactory bathroom. Good breakfast though not well set out - stairs to get to the food (if seated in the 'lower' area). Good TV.

Need a car to drive to plenty of closeby 'chain' restaurants. One arm chair and a pretty uncomfortable desk chair in the room. The stupidest 'push-pull' tap in the bathroom (who invented this? - hard to use and regulate waterflow). Nothing special but happily stay again if the price is right.

Loved the lobby with the trees and lights and especially the koi and turtles. That was a very cozy quaint resort. I’ve never stayed at a hotel like that. We thought it was super cute.

The rooms themselves could use some updating. And the lobby music was like 80s rock which was kind of annoying. But I’m nit picking. Also wish the free breakfast voucher had an option to take your breakfast to go. We didn’t get to use it bc we thought it was a grab and go style and had to leave. We waited until it opened and then found out it was a sit down restaurant so had to miss it.

The facility is lovely and the breakfast great! Nice to have laundry facilities on site. Housekeeping staff very helpful.

Room placement. Being in our 70ties, we were in a second floor room in the very back of the hotel. Asked for another room and were told it wasn't possible. We stayed six nights.

The atmosphere was gorgeous. The pool and hot tub were nice. The beds were very comfortable.

Thw hot tub was rather more like a warm tub, and the jets were not very effective for muscle relaxation . The bubbles for the hot tub came from th bottom of the round concrete like textured tub. It was nice enough, however, after a long week. It was also nice to sèe.that it was open u til 10 pm.
