Wave Resort

Starbucks is convenient, except they should have more options like a regular starbucks has. Also, dinner was delicious at the Milos restaurant and because we had a little issue with the temperature in our room, the hotel gave us a meal for 4 complimentary. That was above and beyond what we expected. That was excellent service by the hotel manager, Charlese.

I think the rooms are nice but they are a little pricey. I guess you have to book way in advance to get a better rate but I love the pool and I really like that you get complimentary chairs for being a guess. The parking is convenient but if you stay at the hotel they should give you a more discounted rate.

We love the size and location of this hotel. We had a spacious beachfront balcony room which was such a treat! You can walk everywhere, there are delicious restaurants and nice shops right out the front door, not to mention the ocean at your feet. We ate well at the restaurant and coffee shop on the ground floor, played pool with our kids, walked by the ocean and rested in the most comfortable bed. Our room was gorgeous with floor to ceiling view of the ocean and the promenade. And on top of everything else, the entire hotel looks and smells amazing. I later found out you can buy a candle with the signature scent. 10/10

There is nothing at this hotel that I didn't like. The staff was kind and helpful and the entire experience was laid back, restful and a dream.

Location, beach front, star bucks on property. Very modern style and great pool and pool scene. I loved the restaurants close by and the restaurants onsite.

I feel like they are cheap or over priced where they shouldnt be for a $800.00 plus a night hotel. Example. toliet paper was the cheapest type you would expect to find at a sporting event...Really? Pillows were not quality and comfortable. Again this price range I'm expected at least Ritz Carlton level of bed/pillow/blanket comfort. Again a miss here. Finally a very unpolished less than professional front desk staff and obvious asbense of an onsite manager. Again for this price point guys seroisuly get some qualified staff and stop being cheap! Or reduce your prices! Finally $55.00 a night for valet and $80.00 a night in the self park garage....Are you serious? Did you forget this is Long Branch and not Madison Ave?

The quality of the room was great. The hotel staff we BEYOND exceptional! The customer service was on point and this hotel is on my top ten list. I have traveled to over 80 countries and stayed in some of the world's best hotels. The Wave resort is an excellent hotel.

The only complaint I have is regarding the Cantina restaurant. Went there to order take out, proceeded to sit by the entry door table and wait for the food. The hostess asked me to move to the Starbucks cafe next door, since she needed to set up the table. In normal circumstances, I would totally understand. However, the place was not even busy and 70% of the tables were empty. In addition, it took over 45 minutes and 2 reminders to check on my order, to finally get the food. I ordered nachos and rice&beans. This should take taken 15 minutes. Will never go back there, since there are many other places to eat near the hotel.

The location can’t be beat. The attention to detail was wonderful. Loved the bracelet access to everything - kids could go back to room independently. There was a kids room , a small gym, many dining options, the lobby smelled wonderful, 3 bikes to use, great service and food by the pool, beach chair snd umbrella service at the beach. The hotel is right in pier village so lots of shops snd restaurants and right on boardwalk. Everything was clean, our room was huge and the terrace was so big with room for the 4 of us to sit and have breakfast each morning overlooking the pool, village and ocean. It was a fabulous getaway. I like how the bracelet allowed you only on your floor plus pool and lobby level. No one was ever wondering the halls etc. our room was soundproof- we were not disturbed at all. The staff was very attentive and friendly and we can’t wait to return! Excellent!

Minor - but paying a lot to park, the Peleton would not connect to the internet and beach towels were not at beach but rather back at the lobby.

We love the Wave Resort, it's our go to for a quick overnight getaway from NYC. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished; the location is directly across from the beach and there are tons of restaurants and shops right out the door. There is also a restaurant and coffee shop on the premises if you want to just nestle in. Love this hotel!

I don't feel there's anything that could be better with this hotel. It's perfect to me!

The donuts at Starbucks LOOKED good...but were dry and seemed to be stale. Would love for them to offer a few more options so you could grab and go to the beach or the pool.

ICE MACHINE?!?! The best part of a beach hotel, is that it is hot and you head out to the pool or beach. We brought our water bottles to be earth friendly...and there was no ice to be found. A housekeeper found some, and we tipped her. PLEASE PROVIDE ICE MACHINE easily found for room and water bottles!

I liked the room size and the cleanliness of it. The beds were comfy. The pool area was nice with comfortable seating. The location was perfect. Plenty of food at your fingertips including kosher.

The terrace was rather uninviting with uncomfortable rusted chairs that left rust stains all over the terrace floor. Definitely expected better for an upscale pricey hotel. There could have been more umbrellas and a more resort like feel to the pool area (maybe some palm trees and more music playing would have added a lot).

The rooms are new, and therefore clean and fresh with modern decor. The shower is very large. Location was great, right on the boardwalk at Pier Village near shops and restaurants. Ocean facing room had a beautiful view. Parking is included. Had a great massage (therapists were great), but spa amenities are lacking (see dislikes).

The rooms are not that large. Adequate, but I wouldn't describe them as spacious. The tile floor throughout looks nice and is probably easy to keep clean, but the room felt a little cold and had poor acoustics. The spa treatment itself was very good but the cost was high for the lower level of amenities (no sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, quiet room). So be aware that it is not a full service spa. Bed was a little too soft for my liking, but it wasn't a total marshmellow.

Every member of the staff was helpful, pleasant and courteous. The hotel was very clean, the linens were wonderful! The location was wonderful, we were able to walk to almost anything we needed. The restaurants in the area offered a variety of cuisines and the service was great at every place we dined at. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we look forward to our next visit. This has quickly become our favorite spot on the Jersey shore!

We wished there was a microwave and a luggage rack in the room.
