Homewood Suites by Hilton Albuquerque Uptown

The breakfast was good, the room was large and had all required amenities (microwave, large refrigerator, kitchen sink, AC, WLAN, etc.). The staff was very kind and helpful. Also there are a lot of parking spaces at the hotel, so there was never a problem to find a space. Nearby the hotel you can find some malls, fast food restaurants, gas stations and a Walmart to buy food and drinks.

The only thing that should be improved is the sound of the AC, which was very loud. We had to switch if off in the night so that we could sleep. One minor improvement suggestions is also to have more possibilities to hang things up e.g. towels.

The 2 associates could’ve been better at their customer service skills, answering sarcastically wasn’t appreciated. I was upset about the situation that had occurred with my booking but I wasn’t disrespectful to them so I didn’t understand why one associate just sat there and looked at me like it wasn’t his problem and wasn’t gonna help and the other associate attempted to help but became sarcastic in her tone. I paid twice for my reservation just so I wouldn’t have to deal with those 2 any longer and decided to handle the issue over the phone with the booking company instead.

We had already had a very long day of hiking, driving and by the time we reached it was quite late and we were very tired. The room was a very welcome surprise in how fantastic it was. It was a small apartment with a large bedroom and a full-sized bathroom. The living room space had sleeper couch, arm chairs. It was a full kitchen with full size fridge, microwave, stove, sinks, and dishwasher all included. There were plates, pots and pans, coffee and anything else we needed. There was a dining table for us to eat our dinner and breakfast the next morning.

We did have a buffet style breakfast. Even though we were not comfortable with that, the items served were very unique and interesting. Our toilet did get clogged but the front office sent someone to fix it in the morning.

I love Homewood for a long time now. This room was a little smaller than other Homewood room I stayed, but still very comfortable and cozy, they always gives us very nice treatment, friendly, sweet, and respectful. I love that the room have a little door separating the beds from the living room and kitchenette, we everything we need in the kitchenette, and the location was perfect, across the street we have restaurants and more.

I was expecting a little more for breakfast since we stayed in other Homewood and the breakfast selection was more extensive.

Hotel is a bit older though quiet. Great location directly across the street to the Uptown ABQ outdoor mall and Trader Joes within a very short walk. Breakfast at the hotel was okay. Nice patio area with a clean heated pool, and a good number of chairs and patio tables. Noticed that housekeeping was very much on top of deep-cleaning rooms vacated by long-term residents.

Bathroom could use an update. My husband fixed the tub drain so the water would go down.

The location was excellent with regards to why we visited ABQ. Plenty of shops and eating places, easy access to I-40 and to Kirtland AFB. Great breakfast!

The A/C unit in the room was very, very noisy; it would grind and bang each time it started. This was very disturbing throughout the night. The couch in the unit is getting worn out badly, it was sagging and uncomfortable.

Location was excellent and the room was on the high floor. The room was very spacious and the location was quiet. It worked out well for a week’s stay.

This hotel needs some upgrading. Carpeting is old and vinyl wood flooring in the rooms would be cleaner. Beds are comfortable, but old. Bathtub stopped up and I pulled a huge wad of hair with soap scum put of the drain.

Location is great, parking was good to have. Love the breakfast A+ doing great there. Enjoyed some of the snack (ice cream) options. The first stay we had a corner room that was really roomy. The suite on the 2nd stay was much less roomy but still it was comfortable.

Having to deal with smokers around the pool area (grill area) is gross. Also there was like a constant pot smoke smell around the property (both times we were there) what's up with that. Area felt relatively safe though. Curtains in the rooms were in somewhat bad shape and could use replacing (both rooms we were in).

Fab place, great for one night. Near restaurants and not far from the tram. We took a lovely sunset ride on the tram. Breakfast was fab. Lots of options, clean and tidy. The 2 bedroom suite was very large and fitted a family of 6 easily. The price was excellent. The cheapest of 12 stops and one of the best.

Unfortunately our room wasn’t ready when we arrived even though we arrived an hour after check in time. Staff got it cleaned quickly and we didn’t have to wait too long. A bit annoying as I had 4 children with me and we had travelled 10 hours from Texas that day.

Nice location near many shops. it was a nice clean hotel. Our room was a suite and had a nice fridge, stove and microwave. it had a living room and separate bedroom and bath. it was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was great. sausage, turkey and pork, eggs, potatoes, a waffle bar with whipped cream among other items. Also there is a self serve laundry room and you use an app to pay which is nice not having to find change.
