La Quinta by Wyndham Albuquerque Midtown NEWLY RENOVATED

The room its self was okay. It was the most affordable hotel that meets our family size needs so we made the choice to stay two separate times. Breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable.

It was clearly under renovations which was not disclosed on booking.com. The celing /floor had no padding. We heard muffled voices and stomping feet. The bathroom door didnt close properly, and it only had one bath towel, we booked as a family of 4+. There was no pillow or blanket for the pull out sofa and there was no handicap parking as it was obstructed by dumpsters. We had to carry our son from the front door to the room.

I loved the clean environment and friendly staff. The staff is so polite and quick to help out!

Amenities were closed due to code violations and I appreciate the honesty but if they don’t collect themselves and get this settled during tourist season they may be in for a slow one because it’s a disappointing to not have access to a pool or fitness center. I can get access through my gym but others may not be with a company here in New Mexico.

Graveyard staff person was extremely helpful and very nice. went above and beyond to make sure guests were happy. Housekeeping staff were helpful and ready to assist and meet needs of guests. The area in general was safe at night. Noticed security watching parking lot and monitoring which was good even at 1am. A+

Bed sunk in and had to use a different bed to get good rest. Thankfully there was 2 queen beds. Elevator got stuck and almost had to use stairs. Getting to the room was like walking through a maze. No security in morning from 7am to 12pm monitoring. Area gets a little dicey in the morning especially around nearby convenience store.

I liked the newness of the room from the renovations that were being done and the lobby and breakfast area was beautiful also good breakfast selection.

Elevator was a little small and the fan in the bathroom was on the loud side would've been nice to just turn on the light and then have the fan on a separate switch but honestly that was all I could really think of everything else was great!

We were so impressed from the minute we checked in the staff that checked us in was fantastic. The staff that checked us out was great The room was exceptional. Absolutely loved the wood floors without carpet I asked for a ground floor and received it. The updates are phenomenal.

Honestly, nothing

We originally booked another hotel but when that didn’t work out, I scrambled for a new place to stay. Normally this wouldn’t be such a challenge, but it was 1am. This hotel allowed the late check in. We booked it only about 5 minutes prior to our arrival and the hotel hadn’t yet received our reservation, but booking contacted them and pushed our reservation through. The staff was quick as getting us our room and getting us to bed There is no pool or laundry facilities. That was disappointing. There is no hot breakfast but they do offer you continental style to go bags which was a nice consolation. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the room. The location is “ok”. It’s not really right off the interstate but it’s not too difficult to get to. It’s also not a terrible location if you’re looking to visit old town and have a car Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Rooms are clean, staff was friendly, and it felt safe.

Location was a bit of a draw back. The lack of pool being open was understandable, but not being able to use the laundry facilities was disappointing.

My stay was great except for the fact that the pullout bed sheets had not been changed (food crumbs, hair were found on it). Called front desk and asked for new/clean linen and was given some right away. Minor inconvenience was there were no extra pillows/towels available. Pool was great as usual. Kids enjoy staying here for that reason. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was very clean everything was updated beds were comfortable I will sure go back to this hotel

I love the breakfast it was nice I love the staffs there they were very very kind I didn't want to leave and go back home

Overall the property was clean considering the area in which it is located. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, but outdated. In any case we were still comfortable. We felt very safe with this accommodation. Breakfast was included in the price of stay and it was good. Would stay again.

Breakfast was good considering having to pickup due to covid. There were several choices which satisfied everyone in the family. Pool was not open due to Covid but we were busy enough sightseeing that it was ok. Room was great, lots of space, with the separate sitting area. Business center was closed due to covid but I was able to get some work done in the dining area. Worked out fine.
