Sonesta ES Suites Albuquerque

I like that they let us check in early. I called them and told them we were already in the area and asked if we could check in early and they did. The room was fully furnished, has a kitchenette and everything was there (from pans, plates to dishwashing soap etc) This is really a good place for someone who staying for longer terms. Every one was nice and polite. The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The place was surprisingly quiet. And the location is ok.

The ac didn't cool to my liking. Whenever we stay at a hotel we set up the Ac to 70 On. It didn't cool as much. The lights were kinda dim (again to my liking.) The breakfast though it wasn't bad was filling but has very few selections.

The space in our "apartment" was fantastic for a family of 5. We had a 2 bedroomed unit that was well appointed and allowed us to spread out a little compared to a traditional hotel room.

The breakfast was disappointing compared to other places we have stayed. The selection was sparse and, by the last half hour of service, items were not replaced, despite several people still arriving. If service is supposed to be from 7-9 am, there should be a full selection of food at 8:30am.

The room exceeded my expectations. It was more like an apartment than a hotel room. The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. It was great that I was able to use the computer and printer in the office area to conduct and print some business materials. The manager was very helpful in my future bookings.

I didn't like that I couldn't get my laptop to connect to the wifi due to "no security" within the WiFi settings or something. The other thing is the tv/channel selections. I would just make a suggestion to upgrade the t.v's to Smart T.V so that guests can use their apps to watch movies or shows they like. Guests can sign in and out of the apps with their own logins.

The rooms were large and comfortable . Everything I needed was supplied and the breakfast was amazing. What stood out the most was the staff, friendly, helpful and efficient.

The only drawback for me was the stairs. I'm handicap but I couldn't find a handicap room with two separate rooms and a fold out sofa. The handrails on the steps were very helpful. The check in staff immediately noticed my handicap and was willing to help find me a ground floor accommodation but I told him I'd be fine.

They have suites that are lare enough to allow our family group of five to stay together without having to reserve two rooms. This was nice for us, and more affordable than getting two rooms. The front desk man was full of helpful information, the location was fairly convenient, breakfast was pretty good and the pool was nice.

Not enough bath towels included for all five of us, but no problem getting more from front desk.

the bed was so comfortable and the room was big and so comfy for the time we were there. felt just like home and was great value for the price.

The only thing I found wrong was the shower head wasn’t strong enough, our showers took forever. Going to bath to shower the pull thingy didn’t work well. The air conditioner broke on us so it got kind of hot but other than that the room was great and we slept like babies in the very comfortable bed and the pillows were wonderful.

the kitchen staff was helpful and amazing. breakfast was good

front desk staff was horrible. the key they gave me didn’t work and they didn’t believe me. instead of resetting the key they took me upstairs to gym area to try and when it didn’t work he said I wasn’t doing it correctly so I handed him the key. he couldn’t get it to work either. finally he gave me a new key.

We loved the space of our room. Location for the balloon fiesta was ideal. Loved the outdoor fire pit, sat around it every night! They even provided marshmallows and graham crackers 1 night. Breakfast in the am was very good as well.

We had to wear masks to enter the lobby, which we understand, but 1 customer came to breakfast with her dog and told us and everyone that the dog was “sickly”. If the customers have to be healthy and wear masks I don’t think animals should be allowed in the breakfast area.

The staff was super nice and very accesible and informative, the facility is super clean and very well maintained. The suites are very beautiful, and comfortable, makes you feel like you’re right at home.

The only thing I’d have to say is we would prefer to be in the lower level next time, and maybe if the units have pans to cook on.

Our rooms were very spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, everything we needed was provided, staff was so nice and accommodating, and breakfast was very good. This is our second time staying here and it's been a wonderful stay both times. Its in a convenient location everything we had planned to do was close by. We can't wait to go back this will always be our place to stay in Albuquerque.

Everything was great we have no complaints.
