Hilton Garden Inn Las Cruces

I do a lot of traveling with my wife. The staff was great. My wife and I traveled to Las Cruces as she was having an Endoscopy done. After the procedure we went to the hotel and we’re allowed to check in early as my wife was still groggy and under the influence so to speak. They allowed an early check in and offered a wheel chair for her. I think her name was Ling, (My apologies if I misspelled the name) wonderful customer service rep up front. The room was great, spacious, very clean and comfortable. The pillows were amazing. Will definitely be staying here again. Great price, great safe location, great room and wonderful staff.

Everything was perfect in my wife’s and I opinion.

I never tried the breakfast because you had to pay for it,and there were only yogurts that I could see and fruit. I’m not sure if you had to order from the waiter to get more, but I didn’t get that far because they were asking me for $9.25 to have something.

I didn’t like the fact that you had to pay for breakfast when I paid $182 for one night there. It seemed a bit expensive and unreasonable to me. Also, there should be cameras in the parking lot just in case

The breakfast was good. The staff for the most part were nice.

But the room service food we ordered at night was not the best. It was edible. Also when booking it said breakfast included in the price but in the morning Hilton said my booking didn’t state that and we’re charged for breakfast. However I sent an email showing that it did say breakfast included and they fixed it.

The rooms were a great size for a family of four, and the location was right off the highway with easy access to city, etc near the UNM district. Wonderful smelling entryway with a great pool and spa area.

The onsite breakfast was a little lacking and there was quite a bit of noise from the adjacent room during our stay. We stayed in a nonsmoking room and could smell some heavy smoke odor coming from a room two doors down in the hallways.

Loved the fresh breakfast (at a cost), the outdoor pool and hot tub (loved watching the stars while swimming in the heated pool), the bed was super comfortable, the property smelled really clean and pleasant, and the location was convenient for the errands I had to run.

$75 pet fee

Very clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, good quality TV in room, coffee maker in room, shower had great temperature and water pressure.

System to control the room air didn't work and seemed to be on a universal setting, parking lot could have better lighting at night.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and sealed off with a sticker. I could see down the hallway majority of the doors had the sticker seal, meaning we were placed in an area spaced out from other guests. Usually during covid when I travel, I wipe everything down and bring my own sheets to sleep in but I didn't feel the need to do so here. It was definitely a refreshing change of pace and I would definitely stay here again. The price is worth the peace of mind. Also elevators have the 6 ft apart stickers and the checkout process is a completely contactless.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and pool area, a great view of the mountains, easy access to the highway, and a Keurig coffee machine in the room. Our stay included a hot breakfast and that made it a good value for us.

Other guests were noisy.

Resturant/bar food was excellent. Bar stocked very poorly. No chardonnay, no Pino grigos, no red wines, no reg. Premium brands

Choices at bar were extremely limited. Nice bar/breakfast place.

Courtney Campbell!! She was the prize of this stay. She was warm and welcoming the moment we walked in. She gave us great advice on local restaurants and what to do. She asked to help with anything that came up if she could. It was quite refreshing considering our stay at a Garden Inn property in Tyler Texas just a couple of weeks ago. She’s restored my faith in the company. So much so that I’ve already booked a 3 night stay at another Garden Inn outside of Phoenix, the next leg in our journey home to the Northwest. Thanks!!
