Staybridge Suites Las Cruces, an IHG Hotel

I like the location; it is away from I-10 , the trains, and the seedy side of Las Cruces. The front desk clerk, Hayden, was very friendly and helpful . My room was exceptionally clean. I seldom see that at a hotel. The bedding was very comfortable, with a clean fresh smell. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all in dispensers on the wall inside the shower, which is so much more convenient that tiny bottles. They were all Dove products, which leave my hair and skin clean and healthy. I like the full size refrigerator and freezer.

The coffee in the room did not taste good. The breakfast quality is much lower than pre-COVID. There used to be much more variety and my favorite was waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. I had to settle for scrambled eggs, a sausage patty, and a potatoes. So I had very small portions. Cereals, muffins, breads, and cheap yogurt don't interest me. There was no fruit. It wasn't as bad as Hampton Inn , canned fruit and other prefab, inedible sides, but it could be much better.

Spacious rooms with kitchen to fix a meal if we needed to. We had a King suite. Highly recommend it to spread out and not feel crowded. Nice breakfast and early 6 a.m.

They need to put out more information for places to eat nearby. I don't think everyone is a huge fan of Peter Piper Pizza unless you are traveling with kids.

I was really surprised that the hotel (from entry to the hallways and into the room, also the Eating area and food area) were clean and sanitized. No nasty smell as you walk in. Room (under kitchen sink - plumbing needs work; and Water pressure for bathing needs to be updated to benefit 3rd and 4th floor throughout the entire day, especially when laundry is in progress).

Again, water pressure was low or none at all during morning hours.

Beautiful room, comfortable bedding, very clean.

Took me more than 25 minutes to check in. Tina at the front desk had an issue where someone before her had double-booked a room. She was completely stressed out and shut-down. When I finally got up to check-in, she snapped at me for my last name. I told her that after a 25 min wait, she should be more polite, regardless of her predicament. When we went to our room, one of the two cards did not work. My wife went down to get a replacement and Tina was still going on about her coworker and about how mean I was to her. Total lack of professionalism. The hotel and amenities are great...just need to teach Tina about customer service

I liked how much room our suite had , and everything was clean so that was a plus

Didn't like the way the girl at night shift was she made us feel like we were bothering her because we asked for some trash bags due to so we wouldn't have our trash all over our room

I had a king suite, and for an extended stay the full kitchen and separate 'living room' was wonderful. Bed was so comfortable. Even though next to highway, it was totally quiet. And i had a gorgeous view of the Organ Mountains out of my window.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

2 bedroom Suite is perfect for a family. 2 Bathrooms is a huge plus. Breakfast was very convenient and breakfast staff was very attentive. Rooms were very comfortable and small kitchen made it very convenient.

Only complaint is that the facility is starting to show it's age a little. Bathroom showers need attention with replacement of parts, etc.

I liked how our room was like a mini apartment. Had two queen beds and a bathroom and then a small living room with kitchen. They allow pets. And when we walked in it actually smelled clean and was clean. I would stay again if passing through the area again. There is a Peter piper pizza walking distance to the hotel.

What I wasn’t aware of was if you arrive between 11pm-6am the front lobby doors are locked and when we arrived the person wasn’t hearing us ring the buzzer. We arrived at 11:30pm. So I got very worried. We had just driven 5 hours, was tired and worried we didn’t have a place to stay. Also when I took a shower at 1am (we arrived late to our room) we had no hot water. Probably just the time we arrived. The next morning there was hot water. Other than that they stay was pleasant. I’d stay there again.

The Staybridge had it all! Amenities, allows pets, reasonable rates, convenient location, free breakfast, Wi-Fi, the works! Stayed once on the way to our destination and liked it so much we stopped again on the way back.

No complaints!

Almost everything! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, the best breakfast we've ever had traveling on the road.

Would have liked to have been closer to the elevator but that is something I'll be sure to request on my text booking.
