Ramada by Wyndham Las Cruces Hotel & Conference Center

We always stay here when we take a westbound road trip. It's quiet, comfortable, and the restaurant is awesome. The fact that we don't have to leave the hotel for meals is one of the main reasons we stay here when we come through. The staff is always friendly with a welcoming smile.

There was a leak in our restroom. Not when we ran the tub, only when we ran the shower. The water leaked out from under the tub, where the tub meets the floor. Told the desk clerk when we left, they said that they would get it inspected right away.

The front desk staff made me feel like family, always greeted me with as I passed by. They also accommodated my daughter and son-in-law with a delightful room close to mine, even though the week was packed with families of students returning to college. The staff also took time to help anyone with any problem, as well as address homeless populations that gathered in the parking lot. They were most professional and kind, but were always watchful. The cleaning staff were also kind and cordial, always greeting people in the hallway. I definitely intend on returning.

A unique hotel with nice, comfortable rooms. The hotel interior is in the old-style design. A rare experience. My room was quiet and clean. You can sleep very well in these enormous beds with good mattresses. There is a restaurant at the hotel; however, it is not open during lunch hours.

The toilet flush did not work properly sometimes.

I love the setting and atmosphere of the inside area. I love that my room had an opening to the pool area.

I wasn't too happy that on my initial reservation I made 2 request. 1. That my room be lower level. 2. That my room be around the pool area with the access to my room. I had neither. Upon check in she gave me an upstairs room. So I had to ask her to change it. She gave me a downstairs room and when I got to the room it not where I requested. I went back and spoke to Cody and he was a tremendous help. I explained what my request had been on my reservation and apologized and gave me exactly 💯 what I wanted. The Asian lady told him she had already changed my room and Cody let her know that there was a specific request on the reservation which made me happy that he took the time to actually look at it.

The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The fridge worked really well. The interior/lobby area of the hotel was very nice and inviting.

Since I was on the first floor next to the pool I had to keep my drapes closed. This resulted in a very dark room. I would have preferred being on the second floor so I could have opened my drapes to get some natural light in the room.

Rooms AC works great. Was able to relax after working all day. The Grill is located inside made it easy to get breakfast and dinner without having to leave the hotel area.

Wifi was a little slow. The bed was not the best but it worked. The TV was messed up when I got there, but I was able to fix it. TV channels however kept cutting out.

The hotel clerk was very nice. We did arrive early and the room wasn't ready but we were given bottles of water. There was no extra charge for early check in because there was no charge. The room wasn't cleaned yet. We returned later and were able to check in. The room had double glass doors facing the lobby. There was also a back door facing the hall. The room was nice but could use some TLC. The bed was comfortable. We were given water upon check in. The lobby was very pretty with a Spanish theme. It had an inside courtyard with a fountain and chairs. The pool was inside the lobby but the courtyard fountain hid it from the front desk. There was a bar and a restaurant inside the lobby. We ate at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and the food was good. The next morning we ate breakfast at the restaurant which cost only $5.00.

The bathtub was high. You had to hold onto a bar to get in the tub to take a shower. There was a sign warning about the tub. The tv was on the desk and very low. It would have been better if it were on the wall. The room could use some TLC. The laundry room was very hot when I went to wash my clothes. It was not air-conditioned. Also, the stools at the bar were very dangerous. They had wheels on them and you had to be careful when you went to sit on them. You could fall on your butt if you're not careful. Some were missing the bar where you would put your feet. When you did sit you had to hold onto the bottom of the bar and pull yourself towards the bar. The tiles on the floor made it difficult to do so. The stools need replacing.

The lobby was the best part about this hotel. It’s hard to even describe, but it’s hacienda-style and set up like a spacious tile courtyard with the guest rooms around it. There are seating areas, a few shops, a restaurant, a little garden area with a fountain, trees, lights, and the pool is in the lobby too! It’s the craziest set-up, but we really liked it. We were just passing through, so we didn’t use any of the amenities here. The beds were comfortable. The refrigerator didn’t work.

Our room was not in the main “square” of the lobby, so it had the usual hotel-room door. Those around the lobby have glass doors, so if the guests don’t have their curtains completely, you can easily see them lounging in the beds, watching TV, or whatever else they may be doing, without even trying to. The front-desk could have been friendlier, but everyone has their days.

The location was great. Right off the freeway and centrally located. The old world Spanish charm and decor was awesome. Staff was friendly and professional. Grandson loved the indoor pool.

The outside and parking lot are a bit run down. Definitely doesn’t reflect the incredible charm inside. Couldn’t adjust the air conditioning vent, it blew upwards towards the ceiling which caused it to take quite a while for the room to cool down.

Love the atmosphere of the courtyard, love the bar and restaurant! It was very convenient having them there and not having to leave for drinks or your meals. Only thing that I would like to see is maybe the rooms updated some with more plugs for chargers.
