Mirbeau Inn & Spa, Rhinebeck

The breakfast was very nice (recommend eggs benedict), and the new (2019) hotel has elegant architecture. The vintage Rolls Royce used to pick up guests is a great touch. The hotel is also easy walking distance from a number of fine restaurants and shopping in 'downtown' Rhinebeck. It's a great base for visiting some of the historic mansions in the Hudson River Valley. The spa was also much appreciated.

A longer stay would have been nicer.

Excellent staff, beautifully furnished, modernized, and immaculate spa. Underground parking is a real plus in summer, and the elevator is right there to take you to your floor. Easy walking to restaurants and shops.

Rooms could use more shelf space or tables for placing items in the room rather than placing items on the floor. Beds would benefit from end tables on either side, given that sometimes two people occupy one bed. A free, empty refrigerator would have been very helpful for leftovers and cooling day trip water.

French-inspired European ambience, clean rooms, very comfortable sheets and bed, excellent staff, very professional. Relaxing spa center, low lighting quiet room, and clean separate men and womens locker rooms and hot sauna and eucalyptus steam room. Fitness classes on site and easy to go to as well as excellent massage therapists. Downtown location easy to walk to everything.

Our hotel room was beautiful and comfortable and the spa services were wonderful. Restaurants within walking distance, were great. We really had a perfect weekend getaway.

Aqua terrace is way too small, not enough chaise lounges Wish it weren’t so expensive!

The property was very beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and super helpful! The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace in the room was very welcoming! The restaurant was wonderful and had excellent food and service. We loved it!

Unfortunately we missed breakfast bc we didn’t realize they stopped serving at 10:30 am. We got there at 10:35 and was told they could prepare a pastry basket which we didn’t want.

The fact that we missed breakfast by a few minutes and they didn’t offer any suggestions of to where to get something to eat. Lunch started at 11:30 but we had massages booked at spa, which were lovely.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Staff was super, the facilities excellent, even made friends among the guests. Great historic places to visit and the town was lovely and walkable.

Should have spent more time!

This was our first stay at Mirbeau. The hotel looks like an old beautiful French chateau. It is right in town so all restaurants, bookshop and boutiques are within walking distance. Our room was spacious and comfortably appointed. The fitness center had everything for a great workout and the spa was fantastic! There was even an espresso maker (complete with demitasse cups) in our room!

This is a minor point, but the light switch for the bathroom was on the outside wall of the bathroom and not actually in the room itself. It was easy enough to adjust to , but it was an odd choice for placement.

The entire stay was fantastic. The hospitality, attitude, and friendliness of the staff made the stay even better. The spa was amazing and the food delicious!

the resting room was too noisy with staff emptying garbage cans and rolling towel bins in and out and clients accessing the pool.
