Rodeway Inn & Suites New Paltz- Hudson Valley

The price was reasonable for the room. They made an exception and let us check in early. My husband has a disability and the walk from the parking lot to the room was very reasonable.

I didn't t like that there was no outside seating. They have lots of land in the back of the property. They could put chairs a fire pit gazebo. Also there was no AC on in the lobby or hallways. Garbage pails right outside the exit cause lots of bees, yellow jackets some getting inside the building.

The hotel does not provide breakfast. That was in description when I booked. We found a few options nearby and chose Dunkin Donuts - 3 miles drive.

If you want to spend time in New Paltz business district you have to find a parking spot that is not an easy task. We had to book restaurant having its own parking. If we stayed close to Downtown we would have more choices.

Room was spacious and clean and had stylish decor. Heater was good. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Nice that it had a large TV, refrig and microwave. Front desk clerk was very professional and friendly.

I missed not having a coffee maker and coffee in the room, especially when no breakfast food was offered. Lobby was under renovation. Vending machine didn't work. Toilet didn't flush well. Some dirt and hair on top of toilet tank when I arrived, but everything else very clean.

Clean, quiet, hot shower with excellent pressure, roomy rooms, comfortable quality beds and clean sheets, fridge, microwave, etc. No pool, hot tub, etc.

The location is just out of town from New Paltz on its own off of a two-lane highway. There is nothing to walk to, so you have to drive to get to anything. Way overpriced for what it was. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are actually pretty decent.

The price

I have a service dog and have stayed there twice with no problem. Women stated no pets. I was told before they had 5 rooms for service dogs. The toilet was way to low! They should have plowed better so that guests could get out of their cars without having to step in snow. But, all in all a great stay.

Clean, good shower, fridge and microwave, meet our needs for the night. Good location between New Paltz and Poughkeepsie, real close to plaza with good bagels and vegan cream cheese, nice staff

The wifi password didn't work, no biggie, if it was we would've called the front desk. The bathroom door didn't close all the way, again no biggie, they're undergoing upgrades and who's going to come in?

We had a family suite. We were 5 people and very confortable. The staff was the nicest part of our stay. We asked for extra linens coffee and such the gentleman was kind and helpful. The room was clean. We were on a hiking vacation so the location was perfect for us. We would stay again.

We did not have breakfast but the coffee maker in the room gave pretty good coffee. Room was spotless and had no odd smell. This motel was convenient to New Paltz and other Hudson Valley attractions.

The location was convenient for doing some fall things in the area... very close to a number of orchards and hiking trails, plus close to the downtown and a lot of good food places. Definitely got good value for the cost. The beds and pillows were cozy, and we got upgraded to a "suite" with a couch so had a little extra room. Everything seemed clean, and there was a microwave and mini fridge which are always nice bonuses plus a nice flat screen TV mounted on the wall. Our room was an inside entrance at the end of the hall, so very convenient from the parking lot.

The shower did leak on the bathroom floor, but not a big deal.

We liked everything about it. This room was a great value. It wasn’t fancy but there was a fridge and microwave and adequate space. We didn’t watch TV but the WiFi was great. I missed having a coffee maker, but there was free coffee in the lobby!

This room was a great deal for the price. If you wanted fancy, you should look elsewhere. We had everything we needed.
