Hampton Inn and Suites New Hartford/Utica

The hotel was amazing, SPOTLESSLY CLEAN huge rooms, great variety for breakfast, both the breakfast area and the pool lead to the patio with tables and chairs as well as a firepit with Adirondack chairs they turn on at night. Every single employee was super friendly. We had 3 rooms (3 moms and 7 kids) we asked to be close together and if possible over a common area since we had all the little feet. They put us all together over the lobby. This has been the best hotel stay I've ever had. Literally zero complaints, we will absolutely be returning!

The location was perfect for us as our son is attending SUNY Poly. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was large and best of all, clean. But, the desk chair was broken and I couldn't do the work I brought with me in the room. However, the business center was more than adequate. My husband and I loved the pool, it was nice and clean too.

The breakfast buffet could use a little work. I understand that in this time of COVID we are even lucky that the buffet was open, however, the choices were limited. I would have liked if the hotel offered some different flavored ID or Coffee Mate creamers. Also, I don't exactly remember if there was sausage or bacon, however, there was no offering of an alternative turkey based bacon or sausage. There was an egg fritatta but no other egg choice, such as scrambled. The hash browns were excellent. Also, fresh fruit would have been nice as well.

Loved the hotel staff

I was offered cleaning the next day. I left a few hours and told the concierge that I'll be leaving for a few hours and would like the room cleaned and refresh. They told me no problem. Upon my return all i noticed the only change the towels. They didn't do the bed or cleared the garbage. It looked disgusting. Other than that everything else was fine.

The hotel is clean and the beds are super comfortable. The breakfast buffet is very nice. The staff at this location was exceptional! Very accommodating and super kind.

Very noisy neighbors one evening (a hickey team). But that’s not the hotel’s fault. That could happen at any hotel.

Quiet and rural setting was nice. Dog friendly. Excellent breakfast. Very clean. Great parking. Easy access to highways.

Carpet was not vacuumed, pet food on it from previous patrons, no maid service at all checked in Thursday out Sunday. garbage over flowing no linen change

Breakfast was not great, could use a few more options and the freshness of the food offered was not stellar. But, the hotel is very clean and nice and the bed was comfortable.

The breakfast offered a variety of options but it wasn’t very tasty. I wish more people wore masks regardless of vaccination status.

My room was so much larger than I expected! It had a long desk which was perfect for my work and a TV that I could turn towards the bed or couch on the opposite end on the room, to suite where I was sitting. The bed was extremely comfortable, the heater warmed very quickly, and the staff was very polite, professional, and kind. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at!

Unfortunately I forgot to set an alarm and missed the cafeteria-style breakfast that's served from 6-9am, but they had prepackaged breakfast set aside that was actually pretty good, in comparison to other hotels I've stayed at.
