clean, convenient, updated, very good breakfast offerings most of the staff was very friendly

1)Could not check in early or have a room reserved for me - we arrived 1.5 hrs before check-in. We had to change for our event in public restroom in lobby (only one was open) We checked in later at 5:45 after our event, but with incident (see below). 2) Front desk receptionist at 5:45 seemed to have a bias because I used booking.com. told me she couldn’t find my reservation but I had confirmed earlier. They then gave me a handicapped room, which I did not reserve, but she insisted I did because I used booking.com. Had to argue to get what I reserved. very rude.

It was clean and also the breakfast was delicious every morning it was hot and good the pool was awesome the location was perfect.The property was beautiful clean quiet and peaceful

The only thing I didn’t like about my room was that my tv was not working properly it was a little upsetting.

We were happy with our room. It was clean and comfortable. Pillows too soft, but that is our taste.

Breakfast - while we were happy to have been able to get breakfast here, they eggs weren't very hot and they were watery. Definitely not enjoyable. I also was not happy to not have been told about a $100 card hold for any incidentals. I asked if I needed to use same card, as I only held the room with a card, but wanted to pay with another...they charged the card I held it with (even after telling me they would put it on my husbands card). Then they only put a $100 hold for incidentals on his card. Very unhappy as we were expecting to be able to use that money and now couldn't on our trip.

Breakfast good- think fresh fruit would have been a good addition

Front lobby very hot & uncomfortable. Very very hard to find! Hampton Inn sign very small! Cannot see from street & directions confusing If they Just said behind Denny’s would have saved us a half hour!

Overall my experience on the property was good and there are nearby eateries from which to choose.

The part about my stay that was uncomfortable was the breakfast choices. My son who is 10 yrs old could not eat anything that was there. options were limited and ran out at some point. Guests were standing around with empty plates looking for something to eat. The refills or replacements took a little longer than expected to come out. In the room, when I opened the drawer to put my clothing there was a lot of dust in it, so the drawers were not cleaned.

The hotel has been recently renovated and all the furnishings seemed brand new. Love the sleek minimalist clean designs. Room is spacious. Great walk in shower. And this is the ONLY hotel on our trip which served us a Hot Breakfast that we didn't have to microwave ourselves. A plate of just made scrambled eggs and bacon seemed like heaven after some of the prepackaged awful breakfasts we were coming to expect. Also highly recommend Delmonico's Steakhouse across the street-amazing food.

Please get a bigger sign. It's really hard to find you since the parking lot is behind Denny's and the hotel significantly set back from the road.

The breakfast had bread to toast. Something other hotels haven't had.

It looks grand from the outside but we passed it the first time because it had no real driveway of it's own, you have to enter a Dennys driveway to get to the hotel. A train passes by often and the view from our window was of the industrial part of town. Our shower/ tub and toilet weren't clean and the toilet seat was loose. When we asked where the pool was the employee wasn't sure if it was in service. Wasn't overall impressed. One of the lights by the bed didn't work.

Breakfast was decent. Coffee was not bad, too. Room was very wide which apparently was a disabled room and with a infant with us, that was very helpful.

The person that checked us in was I guess in a bad mood. We arrived past midnight so maybe she was sleepy? I tried to strike a conversation so working graveyard shifts is not fun at all but she didn't even acknowledged that. We arrived to our room and noticed there were no toilet paper - had to send the husband downstairs coz I didn't wanna deal with her.

The breakfast selections were excellent. The presentation of the items was well done, and staff was attentive, they ensured that there was an ample supply for the Guests. The staff made you feel welcome.

nice greeting, good gym, loved the breakfast. Convenient location in Utica.

Hard to find - it's stuck behind a Denny's, not visible easily from the main road, and the entrance is easy to miss. In fact, we did miss it the first time we visited and almost missed it again this time. The parking lot requires you to drive through Denny's lot and it's not well paved. Suggest a larger sign at the entrance and a more attractive path into the parking lot and hotel.
