Hampton Inn Rome

The rooms are very nice, and so was the staff. The location works well for us for visiting friends in Marcy. Especially liked having free access to two Tesla Chargers! We also like having the Stewart’s Shop across the street from the hotel. We also enjoyed the option of whether or not we wanted housekeeping. Hopefully, that option will still be offered after COVID is all over.

NY State is just only now opening up from COVID, and we certainly understand that breakfast is still affected by the restrictions. It just would have been nicer if they could have improved the limited breakfast that now serve. It was certainly workable, but it was very limited. Hopefully over time, the breakfasts will get back to how they once were.

Good and standard complimentary breakfast. Clean hotel however, some rooms would need lift ups. Especially bathrooms. But it’s more of a cosmetic issue than anything else. Very good hotel clean. Very nice and friendly staff.

Great location, lobby, dining and room all clean. Helpful staff. Covid precautions observed.

Only two very minor things. The TV system, e.g. the cable software and remote, were older versions, so a bit slow and limited. At breakfast, it would be helpful to offer small trays so guests could easily take food to their rooms. Hard to juggle plate, utensils, coffee, juice, etc…. and then room card to let one into one’s bedroom door.

Everything was clean, breakfast was great, staff was very helpful and nice. Bed was comfy if you weren't trying to watch the tv. Towels were clean and soft. Pillows were excellent. I'd stay again.

The tv is on the side of the bed, not at the foot and having a stiff neck was inevitable. Called twice about needing towels, ended up having to go down and get them. None of this is a deal breaker though.

We always enjoy rooms at any of the Hilton brand hotels. This was no exception.

When we arrived, I went to the desk and requested our reserved room. The person on duty just looked at me, checked her computer, made a key and shoved it across the counter. When I looked at her, she rudely said, “You’re all set.” That was it. No “Hello. No “Welcome.” No “Your room is number #. This person was rude and seemed very inconvenienced by our arrival.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming, there was a bowl of fruit available in the foyer, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was really good with a good selection of food.

Very nice greeting on TV when entering room. Room was clean, good location. Breakfast was good as well.

Thin walls. Didn't really bother us for sleeping but definitely could hear other people's conversations if they spoke loudly.

clean, friendly staff. the Lady that staffed morning breakfast was amazing! kept restocking all items and I even heard her offer to make omelets without ham for some Muslim guests.

Great location. Gas and coffee across the street. Great neighborhood. Convenient to restaurants and stores. Facilities were very clean and modern.

A lot of slamming doors. Breakfast in a box due to COVID. It was less than good. The front desk clerk seemed annoyed that I asked for the room I reserved with a sofa. I was switched to a room with nowhere to sit except the bed with no reduction in rate or apologies.

The breakfast was great nice egg and cheese mini omelette. Good choices with bagels, muffins, waffles, cereal, yogurt. All the coffee you can drink. The safe was helpful.

It would have been nice to gave vegetarian option like, bacon or sausage. Water would have been very welcome and so would have tomato juice.
