When we arrived, the room was not ready yet, but they also upgraded us to the cottage area because they were pretty sold out which was really nice of them. It was a great. Even though the room was not ready yet, they were able to accommodate me to get ready for a wedding we what had to be at. The girls at the front desk really went out of their way to help us. The breakfast is really great.

The pillows are horrendous. They were so bad I couldn’t sleep and I ended up having to switch to one of the ornamental pillows that are used for decoration.

You have to keep in mind that this is a very old building which has been modernised to accomodate people to stay over night or longer. Our room was spacious & well appointed. We enjoyed a large bedroom with a four poster bed, a sitting room with two armchairs & a very modern bathroom. There was also a small refrigerator & an open closet to hang clothes. The amenities in the bathroom were pleasant & the towels were soft & fluffy. Paying $10 per person for breakfast is a must do. The selection made available was fantastic value!

The air conditioning was very noisy.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating! Good location and great rate.

Room furnishings were definitely a bit outdated, which is fine and part of the charm of the hotel, but the carpets were old, dirty and desperately need to be replaced. Also, there are only window air conditioners, which made the rooms cool enough on a couple days that I was there and the temperature was in the high 70’s and cool at night. I can’t imagine staying there when it’s very hot.

The room was ample size and nicely decorated but they were doing renovations on the floor including prepping and painting. They didn't start work until after 9AM, which was very thoughtful. The front desk staff were super helpful and cheery. The breakfast was a great deal for the amount/selection of food and the ambiance was really nice. Loved the furnishings in the hotel. If you appreciate antiques, you would enjoy this hotel. It was a 10 minute walk to town so you don't have to deal with parking in town.

Because of the construction, there was a problem with the electricity in the room. I believe they probably need to renovate that component. In the bathroom, there was a glass shelf above the sink where my friend hit her head. Probably should evaluate if that is the best location for the shelf. The heat/AC was not working but not sure if it is because it was under renovation--we did not realize the windows opened which would have alleviated that problem.

lovely old building. very quaint. good beds

my only complaint is that it was unseasonably warm and the room was very hot. When I went to open the windows I discovered a missing screen and the other window had half a screen. There was no central air. As my room was on the first floor I did not feel comfortable leaving the windows open and staying in the room. They were very accommodating and moved me to the second floor where I was able to open the windows which were both fully screened and leave them open in order to get air and cool the room. However I will say that spring cleaning hadn’t been done yet and the windowsills were filthy from the winter. The hotel is very old, but absolutely gorgeous and in the summer each room has a window unit which I’m sure is more than adequate.

The Inn is a quaint place to stay with nice decor, it is very clean and the location is perfect. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants in town. The breakfast was very nice and reasonable. The staff, especially Jennifer and Bree, were extremely helpful when we had an issue with our rooms and provided excellent customer service! I would stay here again.

Some of the room features need updating. Our room needed shades to block outside lighting at night.

the common parlor area with the cozy fireplace was wonderful especially with cold winter rain outside, and the recorded big band jazz the perfect music era for setting the mood in the well-done period decorated place. felt like being esconced in a movie set. i loved sitting there into the late night hours and for breakfast in the morning. even our Standard room was a very spacious suite with a comfortable 4 poster bed and comfy down pillows. the bathroom was also updated and comfortable, and we appreciated the fridge and extra blanket in the room, and complimentary coffee/tea available downstairs all day. the mural of the streets of their downtown in the elevator was charming and we loved all the lovingly cared for carved wood furniture, mirrors, and building decorative flourishes. we missed the charming bar since we arrived late, but it looks so inviting with warm wood and a well stocked bar. menu looked great and we'd love to come back for the jazz nights (several nights a week through the weekend). it's very conveniently located a few blocks from the lovely park and downtown stretch and such a cute little town down Broadway. the value was great and i'd definitely recommend staying here, enjoying the historic, well-kept ambiance, and supporting one of the longest running hotels in the area. it's a lovely way to experience a lovely town.

Loved the historic decor, including the cozy front porch. Location was great, short walk to downtown area with lots of restaurant choices. Buffet breakfast reasonable at cost of $10 per person.

The Victorian style beds with very high footboards, while cool to look at, made it impossible to watch the TV while in bed. Had to sit up to see it over the height of the furniture.

The Inn at Saratoga is located in a very central location making exploring Saratoga very easy. It was also very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the experience of staying in a historical building with such great character. It was a great value as well.

The parking left was a challenge. The floor to ceiling window in the bathroom was a little odd and it became concerning that the shade was stuck at the top of the window upon arrival. Having more than the shade would have been helpful.
