Comfort Inn & Suites

I didn't like the fact that we had to leave by 0720 and were hoping to get some breakfast. Breakfast is advertised to begin at 0700, however if you drag your feet, most people have to leave, and you don't have to serve them anything. This is not only wrong, but also clearly on purpose, and enough to prevent me from staying here again despite many trips in the area. Saved money on the eggs though.

The staff managing the breakfast room and refills there were excellent, especially Rosalie, constantly making sure that the food selections were replenished and helping us with directions to various local attractions. Our room was amazingly large and CLEAN with extra pillows, towels and bathroom toiletries that aren’t typical these days. We especially enjoyed the cozy corner with 2 comfortable chairs, a lamp and table where we could plan the next day’s schedule. All the staff were very pleasant and always helpful from the cleaning staff to the front desk staff. We had an excellent stay and will recommend your hotel to friends and family who may visit the Hudson Valley in the future.

An instruction brochure for the TV and VCR would have been helpful.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and the staff was top notch. It is a shame that with all the positives, my impression was spoiled when I went to breakfast and Plastic utensils and paper plates were provided. I stayed for several nights and paid over $900 for my stay.The only reason I can see was to make it easier for hotel and save on paying a dishwasher. after 2 days, i chose to walk next door and eat at the diner so I could eat on a plate with silverware. Not appropriate for a hotel of this level. Thank you

It was so great to have a pool. That's what tipped the scale and made me choose this hotel. Having a large room will fridge and microwave was great and a warm breakfast and fresh coffee was really appreciated too. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, especially Rosalie (breakfast staff), the housekeepers, and the man on the front desk on Saturday Aug 19 morning.. Pool could have longer hours. Gym could've been better. Access to a newspaper would've been nice

The room was spacious, and the king bed very comfortable. There was a microwave, a mini fridge, and an extra sink in the room. There was a generous hot breakfast.

Decor was somewhat dated and there was some peeling wallpaper in our room that could easily have been glued back into place.

The location was pretty decent. Applebee's next door, but no delivery. The room was cozy, and had a big room. Loved the desk area, and all the TV channels. Bathroom we're clean and room was as well. Lots of pillows pretty comfortable for me.

Getting to the hotel it was a little bit dark getting to find the place needed my gps to make sure i turned in the right place. The Breakfast really wasn't the best probably due to covid. Food options we're less and only grab and go and mostly cold options. Coffee wasn't available all day like before. Wifi wasn't strong enough. Would be cool if they put hand sanitizer throughout the hotel.

Staff were very helpful and made check in very pleasant , room was very clean and lots of towels & Fresh linen . Coffee and tea making facilities in the room . Snack & ice machine available .

Just one little complaint , the air conditioning made a noise all night like a tap dripping , even though it was unplugged.

There was a hot breakfast included/free. On the morning we were there, they had cheese omelets, bacon and sausage. Also make your own waffles and much more. Also an Applebee’s restaurant next door. Big bonus was the two mile distance to the train to NY city.

Clean comfortable room. Very safe shower with appropriate safety bars.

Small issue. I sleep with a very firm pillow at home and all of your pillows were too soft. I woke up with a slightly stiff neck. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. Breakfast was very good.

Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms and facilities were all very clean.

The curtains do not provide full black out conditions. My mattress was not very comfortable. It rolled when you moved on it. However, my daughter’s mattress was just fine. Starting to show some signs of age. Examples includes our bathroom sink was cracked, and door to room was damaged.
