Hilton Garden Inn Westchester Dobbs Ferry

Bartender Kevin made the trip for us! He was so much fun -We really appreciated his energy! He made us drinks, with “theatrical tricks,” remembered our names, kept our to-go meal warm while we enjoyed the patio and just made our “date” at the bar unforgettable! The bar food was also delicious! Breakfast included was a major plus, food was okay, and free parking. Also the area was cute for little walks/strolls with lots of options for meals.

Checking in was confirmed to be 3pm but when we arrived at 3:30 it wasn’t ready and the rep went on a rant about needing clean rooms and not able to speak directly to the staff bc she doesn’t speak Spanish herself. I found that unprofessional. We were given a king bed w bed sofa instead of 2 queen since that was available at the time.

The bed was very comfortable. There was a large TV. The room was very quiet. The included breakfast was very good. The free parking was very adequate. The bathroom was compact but very adequate.

We stayed for two nights. There was no room service while we were there: The bed was not made. The towels were not replaced. Checkout by noon was required, but the room key was programmed to stop working at 11. This made loading up the car inconvenient. We needed help from a janitor. If checkout is by noon, then the key should work until noon.

Great location, comfortable beds, and staff. We enjoyed our stay! Spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable.

We were disappointed that the shuttle to the metro north train station is no longer available. This was a deciding factor in choosing to stay here. Having a shuttle to take each day to the train was part of our plan. We had to take taxis/ubers which was an unplanned cost. But it's really close to the station and a great location overall.

Everything was great here. Exceptional service. Great experience. Starbucks, Chipotle and a MOMs organic market across from the hotel.

Everything was pretty on point and optimal. If i had to find flaws it would not be easy but maybe I wished for some more caffeinated coffee pods in the room and for a faucet near the coffee maker, for more convenience. Parking was interesting but it was not bad at all.

Room was like every Hilton Garden inn room. Clean, modern, comfortable. Ample parking. Free coffee in the lobby.

Fees. Free wi-if offered is useless, be prepared to pay $5 a day for WiFi. Parking is $12. Breakfast buffet is $26. I was charged $3 for something I don’t even know what. At $200 a night plus fees, it’s pricey.

As usual this is a great hotel. Quick check in, nice rooms, plenty of parking and a great location.

Usually don't have any issues, but this time I had a few with the cleanliness of my room and the pool. My room had a bad order of stinky feet or dirty carpet. Also.the pool water was cloudy and area around pool was dirty. Other than that it was good.

That it was close to everything

The night before my last night of my stay one of the workers demanded me and my family to have our masks on but other people that was in the common areas of the hotel didn’t have theirs on. He made a huge deal about not have ours on for 5 mins while we bought snacks from the store shop but another family didn’t have their masks on and they were sitting in the common areas communicating all night. I just felt like he singled my family and I out while there was others not wearing their masks as well. If it’s going to be policy about the masks it should go both ways not just for certain people.

Room was nice and clean.

Upon my arrival the front desk clerk wasn't very inviting. Very dry and nonchalant. Also, the overpriced breakfast. C'mon guys!!! Lastly, the hallways smell very stuffy as though there may have been some water damage somewhere, OR the carpet needs a deep clean.

Amazing stay!!! This was by far the beat hotel we have stayed at in the area. Beautiful, clean, staff was amazing. Rooms were large clean and beds were sooooo comfortable. Kevin at the bar was phenomenal. Wish we had more time to stay another night.

The only thing I didn't like was the entrance to the parking area. It was confusing and and just weird to get into and out of.

the convenience of the location and the surroundings. and the staff was outstanding. My wife was having surgery at a near by hospital and I was able to extend my check out until she was being discharged and that removed a huge burden

when we arrived we had to switch rooms a few hours later because the fridge didn't work, I was going to be there 2 days and need to keep food and beverages cool that was a set back. we were moved to another room that needed some minor repairs (toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall)and the 4th floor and elevator always reeked of Weed. I am a smoker and was going out side to have my cigarettes and I just thought that was rude.
