Super 8 by Wyndham Black Mountain

Ok so first and foremost this isn't a high end hotel which honestly I don't care to stay at. But I had a nightmare few days being stranded in the mountains due to my car tearing up christmas eve. I found this hotel the price was amazing the owner was o polite and caring. Check in and out was an absolute breeze. The rooms could use some touch ups but other than that they was clean comfortable and everything. This place was a god send. I would stay there again.

We liked the room, overall. It was very clean when we checked in. The location was good in our opinion, close to the shops and directly in front of a mexican restaurant which was absolutely delicious. TV was a huge plus.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable, woke up the first morning and our backs were hurting. We stayed in a king size bed room that was handicap accessible, the shower was very nice except the water doesn’t flow directly to the drain so water was getting all over the bathroom floor. Furniture was slightly outdated.

Everything was great I just wish someone told us that we needed to request room towels and cleaning. We got back late n had no towels. Other then that we love it. We come a few times a yr. Our daughter goes to collage 7 minutes away. And works at the Mexican restaurant next to the beautiful stream in the parking lot. We felt very safe at this motel. Thank you.

No room service for towels or trash

I was visiting the area on my motorcycle and had to get a room while I repaired the bike. My last minute same day booking was handled very easily and I was welcomed as soon as I arrived. Absolutely great location, easy access to highway 9 or the interstate and downtown. Clean, cozy facility with kind staff and quiet guests.

I enjoyed everything about my stay at this property.

The property was tucked away off a secondary road - very private and no noisy traffic. Very beautiful creek adjoining the property with a bridge crossing to a highly rated Mexican restaurant and venue. The staff was extremely nice, professional and helpful, while maintaining a family friendly feel - they really made you feel welcome and were quick to respond to any needs (like an extra towel).

It was perfect for our needs - no complaints.

To be honest, I booked here to escape the Asheville water "crisis". This motel fit the bill: reasonable price, good location, quiet rooms, hot shower. I would not stay here for a vacation (it's not that kind of place), but for a night on the road or a respite from the city, this "ticks all the boxes".

The location was excellent for our needs. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and clean.

The breakfast is cold and every single day the same thing. My husband is diabetic and they only have sweets, three choices of the same for all six days of our stay.

Well to be honest for the price ($207) I've had nicer rooms! The bed was not that great either we had a really long night and ended up leaving at like 530 in the morning! I also called 3 times for an early check in an only got someone to answer the last time I called was told "No" then 20 min later another person calles back and say yeah come on an check in. Well not stay here again.

Walking distance to restaurant. It was a mexican place. They had ok food but the drinks were crap

friendly staff, great location, and we have always been able to get a room on the ground floor for my Mom! The mountains are her “happy place” l!!

The only complaint is that the sinks drain incredibly slow. sometimes it’s a real issue!

I didn't expect much because the room was so cheap. But everything was clean, quiet and comfortable.

The wifi was spotty, and the breakfast consisted only of a few pre-wrapped pastries, which I don't really like. But no big deal.
