Courtyard Charlotte Ballantyne-NEWLY RENOVATED

I like the view from our room balcony, also liked it was a store right across the street and a ATM located on the property. Made everything very easy to access.

I didn't like how I was charged a extra $20 when paying for my room, I was never told anything about this when I was booking, that should have been included.

The setting. It was a plus to have the gas station across the parking lot and the lake in the back. Quality of provided toiletries was very good.

The distance from uptown Charlotte.

Rooms were great, very soundproof and you couldn't hear others in adjoining rooms or walking down hallways, very clean, easy parking, view of the fountain from our room was great, breakfast was great.

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Room and facilities were very clean. Staff was professional and kind. Water pressure was great. Enjoyed the pool and fitness center.

Nothing really

Location and overall room itself. Did not hear any outside noise and was able to get some sleep. The housekeeping lady, maintenence sup and lady at the desk at checkout were very friendly and helpful.

The front desk women upon check in was extremely rude! She stared at me said, "what the name, scan ya card and the elevators behind me"...No hello, where to park or anything helpful.. Would also love breakfast included in a price close to 200/night.

Overall I would stay again but no one never stay at the front desk u have to yell for some one every time u come to the front desk even for check in

The last 2 times I stayed at this location their is something wrong with the pool a month ago they said the air conditioner was out at the pool this time they said they shut the pool down on Sunday morning for maintenance but their was no sign up saying that they shut it down for maintenance on Sunday

Loves the layout of the room, loved the location, comfortable bed, the lady who checked us in was very sweet!

The shower door wouldn’t stay closed which wasn’t a big issue. The doors seemed to be too heavy and wouldn’t latch. I also wish breakfast would have been included but no big deal either.

It was located outside of the city (Charlotte) but close to friends we were visiting.

Departing from the hotel was made a bit difficult because the exit was on to a side street which had a central divider in it that required one to turn right and then make a u-turn if you wanted to go east instead of west.

The jet tub was very nice and spacious! My partner and I enjoyed it very much! There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.

The bed was very uncomfortable. My partner and I tossed and turned for 3 nights. I have stayed at many Courtyards/Marriott hotels and this was the first time I had an issue with a bed.
