The location was nice. The breakfast was good. And the rooms were nice and clean. As well as the gym and the pool were quite nice as well. Also, the atmosphere and staff around the hotel were pleasant and friendly.

What I did not like was the design of the shower and how a part of it is open. So while showering water would get on the floor outside of the shower. And the gym area did feel somewhat small with me wishing there was a little more space.

The staff member who checked us in was very nice — it was raining and we had came to town to go to Carowinds. They closed early due to inclement weather, and the guy checking us in gave us some ideas for things to do around the area. He was very nice and welcoming all the way around! There was no “hotel smell”, the room was clean, and bed was comfortable! Loved the walk in shower also. :)

Booking was a mistake. Stayed an extra night and did not go through booking and my rate was half the price. I thought booking would get me a better rate. Will not use booking again. Will go straight to hotel for reservations in the future.

Everything else was GREAT! The facility and its amenities was great!

I didn't get the room that I booked on line (a corner suite w/ 2 queen beds & a queen pullout). They Didn't even offer it. And no effort was made by the GM Steve to help me, he instead, unapologetically, offered to cancel the reservation leaving us nowhere to go. Being that we were 4 hours away from home we had to make due. When I spoke with the Marriot CS that he gave me, she wouldn't even listen to what I was saying bc she was fixated on the fact that I went thru booking.com. And the young lady who served breakfast was extremely rude to the guess. Several others were complaining about her attitude as well.

Loved the coziness of the room. The walk in shower was unexpected and so nice. Bed was comfortable. The streaming options on the tv were a nice bonus. Will definitely plan on staying at this location again in the future. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly!

property is located very close to carowinds park. the pool is nice. they have a grill and a fire pit. would stay again

there is not a lot of restaurants close by . but if you drive 10 15 minutes there is a lot

the design of the rooms. nice mattress , the spacious shower with the glass wall . lots of lights and electrical outlets .

Everyone was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast on the weekend was warm and well stocked and varied with things for everyone.

Air-conditioning in the hall ways and main dining area was not working. Elevator broke down with people in it. Cleaning staff was overwhelmed and didn't get to every room every day.

Clean, spacious and accommodating as a new hotel it should be but there are many features to include nice bathrooms with large shower and kitchen area that I havent found offered in other comparable properties.

Only complaint I can have is the bath towels are rough.

The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and responsive.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The waffles were soggy. The sausage was gross. I think it was turkey sausage, but I could not identify it.
