Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/Pineville

Overall the property was clean and the location for my travel purpose. Location felt safe

I was disappointed that the breakfast buffet was being wrapped up and area cleaned up before the end of the advertised breakfast hours. I got there later with about 15 minutes to go and most warm food items were gone by then. Perhaps this is normal with most breakfast buffets, but still a disappointment nonetheless. Though the room in its appearance was clean and tidy, it lacked a fresh, inviting scent. It didn’t stink, but smelled old.

The location was convenient and easily accessible to restaurants and stores. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice warm quilt. The full breakfast was decent.

The in-room refrigerator wasn’t cold and we had to throw out the food we bought. The size of the room was very small and confining. There wasn’t much room for maneuvering suitcases, etc., and the coat “closet” was just a couple of coat hangers and hooks hung up by the drapes. Many of the electrical outlets and phone charging stations were very loose and barely worked. I tried to use my blow dryer by the full length mirror and the outlet was so loose the plug to my blow dryer kept falling out. The bathroom had no fan to dehumidify after taking a shower.

The breakfast was great although I was a bit disappointed as there was no bacon.I loved the little circle waffle maker and that there was different selections to put on the waffles. I was thankful for the vanilla creamer.

The mattress in the pull out couch in our had a big yellow stain on it. The stopper in the bathtub wouldn’t work we had to put a rag in the hole so it would keep water in.

The location was really convenient. The pool was really nice and clean. Very comfortable lounge chairs. I enjoyed the lobby. There was so many seating arrangements. The breakfast was fresh and a big variety. The staff were really nice and helpful. I went with my son and husband and we all enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

The thermostat kept on adjusting to a warmer temperature. Also, I had to adjust the thermostat 3 times throughout the night to get the A/C going again.

It was close to the mall and had good food options available. Not too far from Uptown Charlotte so very nice

On Saturday, there were not any towels or rags available. I made my booking reservation for 3 people and there was only 2 sets in my bathroom. When requested another, they said there was not any finished or available. They were being washed. It took 2 hours for us to get another clean towel and rag for my guest. I had reservations that had to be cancelled because my friend could not shower.

The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. There was an African American lady that handled the breakfast and she was AWESOME. She should definitely get a raise. I watched her handle the breakfast rush with ease and a smile. Really nice lady!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/Pineville. The location was just outside of the city with a big mall and lots to do right next door. The breakfast was also a great buffet with many tasty options, available on the weekend from 6-10am. The room was also nice except a stray hair or two that didn’t seem to get cleaned in bathroom corners. The only big downside was that our room was right next to the stairwell on the third floor and the door was sticky so every time someone came by, it made the loudest banging noise that definitely took away from the quality of the trip a little bit. Overall, I’d stay here again but request a different location for the room.

Loud stairwell door made for a rude awakening when sleeping or relaxing. A couple of stray hairs around the bathroom could’ve also been cleaned up better.

The staff was absolutely AMAZING! Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful! Breakfast was much better than expected and they had many more options than expected as well! Easy access to major interstates but far enough away that you didn't feel like you were in a crowded area. Very clean! We will absolutely stay here again.

The bathroom doors are sliding barn doors. If you are at the right angle in the room you can see through them. This would not be an issue for couples but I still wish they were normal doors.

The room was comfortable. I liked the convenience of having a fitness center. the breakfast area was clean and well-organized. it was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room.

The breakfast selection could have been more healthy. There were too many high carb items. The place to hang up clothes was awkward to get to. (I stayed in an handicapped accessible room)

This was our second stay here. The last time we stayed it was a few years back when they were going through renovations and I still gave it a high rating even at that time. Today, it's just as nice as it was before. I can tell they've made renovations to the rooms because the closet is definitely different from what I remember. I could've sworn it was like a normal closet and not a cutout on both sides of the window. Either way, it was clean, clean, clean. The breakfast in the morning was definitely convenient and one of the best for a continental breakfast. I love where it's located, which is off the beaten path, but still easy to get there if you want to. I normally don't stay at the same hotel twice, but I have absolutely no complaints here.

The room seemed smaller than before. It was a little hard to get around the beds. Also, if we turned off the AC near the window, it leaked on the floor. That was a little annoying.
