Fairfield Inn & Suites Greensboro Wendover

Free hot breakfast, friendly staff, very clean, great quiet location (They were renovating but our room was quiet)

I asked for and really needed a handicapped accessible bathroom but they had us in a room with a regular bathroom. Could only get a handicapped bathroom for an additional $80 a night and we were there for 5 nights.There was a walk-in shower but NO safety bars, so felt very nervous. Nothing to help rise from the low toilet. Just barely had enough space for my walker between bed and wall. Otherwise it was a great room and stay.

The only thing that I didn’t like was that even though check out is at 12 pm, housekeeping starting knocking at around 10 am (I wanted to relax until checkout). Not only were they knocking early, the lady knocked twice and opened the door. When she realized that someone was in the room, she hurried trying to close the door and as I was trying to pull it open, she was pulling it to close it. I opened it to tell her that we didn’t want her to come in and to wait until after we left, she said okay. 5 mins later, another lady that was with the First Lady (they were together) unlocked my door & proceeded to come in & when I hopped up, she went back out. At that point, I just got dressed & checked out early. That was very disturbing and uncomfortable to experience.

Hands down, the best customer service we have ever received!! The staff was phenomenal!! They had smiles on their faces and any question I had was addressed promptly and with such a great attitude. The hotel was in a great location, clean, and had an indoor pool which was used a lot by our 7 year old. The breakfast was plenty for us and having the coffee bar area close by was a huge plus!! I know that we will stay there again in the future.

I don't think there is anything that could have been done better. They are doing a wonderful job!!

The breakfast was decent. Eggs, biscuits with gravy, and other options for cold food, and juices. Coffee at hotels, IMHO, is never good. My hubby said it was not either; so, I didn't try it. The rooms were decent size, the bed comfy, the shower good water pressure. We didn't hear any noises (in the hallway nor outside). The lady at check-in was friendly, courteous, helpful with suggestions of where to eat. I wish I had gotten her name to give her a shout-out. Do I always wish the cost for a quick overnight trip was a bit cheaper? Sure ... but for $120 it was not a bad part of our wonderful 31 yr anniversary celebration.

I cannot think of anything that I didn't like.

Everyone was so nice from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out to. The breakfasts were wonderful and the atmosphere welcoming and comfortable. The housekeeping staff is exceptional in their attention to detail. Our room was spotless.

The thermostat control. Linked up to and old unit was hard to manage. The room could often times be too hot or too cold. I'm sure that there might be plans in the future to upgrade the system

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the room & facilities were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was more than ample. Everything met and exceeded my expectations!

It would be nice to have a bidet in the bathroom. Also, the rooms are only cleaned upon request rather than daily, but I understand this was due to COVID-19 protocols.

The hotel is located close to shopping and most points in Greensboro. Downtown is only 10 minutes away. The hotel is quiet and well-run. Checkout is at noon and breakfast runs until 10 am, which not all hotels do nowadays. It backs up to a wooded lot, so we wore to birdsong every morning (but were not woken up by it.)

Nothing - it was perfect.

Had an excellent stay, the beds were super comfy and everything was clean, great internet, and the shower head felt amazing... wonderful water pressure.The staff was so helpful and welcoming. Will definitely stay at a Fairfield Inn again.

Nothing to dislike.

There was a variety of hot breakfast items which my family and I really appreciated. Caleb and Ashley who work in the breakfast area work really hard to make sure you have what you need. They made our expereience enjoyable with smiles on their faces. I did not feel like it was a bother to either of them to do what they could to make sure that everyone's day got off to a good start! They really changed made FAIRFIELD INN-Wendover our choice for hotels when traveling in that area.

The pet fee for 1 night was higher than expected.

Everything was very nice. Stacy and other staff, including the food staff, were very nice and accommodating, during our stay. We were there to attend our niece's wedding. Our entire family enjoyed our stay so much! Thanks Stacy for being a joy in dealing with and assisting us with questions.

Just would like firmer pillows. Coffee pot was missing out of my room.
