Comfort Inn Mars Hill

The first thing I appreciated was how quick the check-in was; I checked in a couple hours after I stated my estimated check-in time was, but there was no problem! Just checked us right in, very simple. The room was really clean and set up nicely, the bed and pillows were very comfy. House keeping was very kind as well and helpful. Check-out was also quick and painless!

There wasn't much to complain about, the only thing that I noticed was my friend and I booked through a 3rd party site, so the staff could not do much about combining our rooms, since we already prepaid - which is understandable. The only thing I didn't really like was how early the breakfast ended, but granted I stayed on a Thursday night, so the breakfast was only from 6-9am, so if you're a late riser like me, a local breakfast place will be your answer.

Great location for visiting with family that live outside of Asheville! Also appreciate the price which was cheaper than places closer to Asheville. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we checked in late on Friday--it was very efficient.

Not a lot to complain about! The AC worked overtime to keep the room cool, but it was still pretty warm even after running for awhile.

in the bathroom: bathroom sink and toilet were clean but had stains on shower/tub (mildew/mold), stain on the inside of the shower curtain and stains on the inside of the door from dirty hands around the knob (easily could have been cleaned with a wipe or magic eraser.)

Very nice room with super comfy bed and modern style furniture. Property could have use more signage from the road since it’s kinda of secluded behind other businesses and even with GPS was hard to find and end up landing on abandoned creepy parking lot a block down the street.

I found super annoying that the house keeping ladies knock at my door three times between 8:30 am and 10:15 am which is before checkout time at 11 am. If they get more organized should be able to know when a guest has already check out to try to go into the room to clean up. Also not enough parking for all the capacity the hotel has.

Breakfast was average for hotel/motel. Nothing wrong with it and good selection, but nothing outstanding. Location conveniate for our destination but hard to find if did not know where it was. Very small sign at a long steep driveway and next door (behind) a large equipment facility. Room very clean and linens/pillows very good/comfortable.

Alarm clock did not work and in room coffee was terrible. No rubber mat to put in shower so very slippery.

This place is a little out of the way but very nice. Part of my reasoning for picking this place was that it was pet friendly. Do keep in mind the charge for pets is an add on. I only stayed one night but the room and staff were very nice. Also the morning breakfast was a plus. I would recommend this place. A dinner recommendation was given for a place in town called Stackhose it was fabulous and I would highly recommend it also.

Front desk girl seemed to be there entire time but was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and everything was clean and tidy all over the building

Nothing about the hotel specifically but not a lot to eat near by. Have to go closer to Asheville but its only a few miles up

we really enjoyed the views we got from our room for such a good price. The staff was always polite and the rooms were very clean. We enjoyed having the breakfast

I wish some of the room views didn’t have a large light pole and dumpster blocking the mountain.

Staff is very nice. Very well-kept Hotel. breakfast area was very nice good variety. Large TV in room. Bathroom was good size. Nice bedding. Brooms were made available to remove snow from vehicles

The elevator was really slow and there was only one. After a snowfall nobody plowed the hill to the hotel or the parking lot. They were unavailable.

The rooms were quiet, cozy and clean. I liked that there was a vending machine and a laundry room at the end of the hall on the floor I was staying on.

I thought the continental breakfast was lacking as there was little to choose from. There was not much of a variety offered and the only hot item served were waffles.
