Candlewood Suites Raleigh Crabtree, an IHG Hotel

LOVED my room! Loved the way everything was set up. Small kitchenette, table area. I also like how I could see the tv from the toilet. That was genius.

Bookings told me free breakfast included and it was not. that was very upsetting. also receptionist didn’t know who delivered etc to the hotel. they did recommend door dash but I’m not from Raleigh so I needed to know what spots were good to eat at. ended up getting dominos one night and that was delicious but second night hit Shanghai Chinese food and that was trash. literally threw the whole plate away smh.

Great location with easy accessibility to major interstates and uptown/downtown. Fair priced, well secured, and friendly staff

Age is starting to show. Stayed here a few times, may want to start planning on carpet and paint update. Rooms starting to look bates motel eith an upscale glimmer with high end stove tops and pillow top beds but 80s carpet

No breakfast offered except the “Cupboard”. It would have been nice to have even a donut bar, cereal, fruit, etc. Free coffee is appreciated. No cleaning during stay suits us but fresh towels, etc. brought to our room daily would be very nice. Thank you for asking.

Nothing that would keep us from staying at this location anytime we are in Raleigh.

The power was out from a big storm when I checked in but I still enjoyed it. Opened curtains and had plenty of light from outside security lights. The mattress was the best I have ever slept in when traveling .The sheets and pillows were awesome 👌. I will stay again when I come to Raleigh.

Very clean and comfortable room. Mostly quiet in hallways, etc. Great location, friendly and helpful customer service

There is no restaurant in the hotel so we bought from the little snack shop but the choices were very limited. Would like to see more chips and drink options and perhaps frozen breakfast foods to use in microwave.

I loved having a full, and fully stocked, kitchen so I did not have to go out (or order out) after a tiring day. I liked how large, clean and modern the room was. The bed was extremely comfortable. I liked having some items for sale in the "pantry" near the lobby so I was able to put together an evening meal and relax. There was a very large and functional L shaped desk which served as a place to work and a place to eat a meal. The staff was masked and all precautions were being taken to keep patrons healthy.

It must be near a fire station or something as there were MANY emergency vehicles dispatched in the morning (we had heavy rain with flash flooding going on and that could be the cause). The refrigerator in the room was loud - I am sensitive to sound while trying to sleep. The coffee in the room was really bad - I'm kind of choosy. The free coffee in the lobby is much better.

We came to visit my elderly parents who live about a mile from the hotel. My mom is immune compromised so we decided not to stay with her and stress her out. Cleanliness during this time was of utmost importance. Although the hotel is not requiring masks, the staff is fully masked and so were we. Our room was very clean and had all the necessities you would need in the kitchen for a long stay. We were here 4 days and brought lots of food. The fridge is a full sized fridge with plenty of storage. There is a dishwasher, microwave and small stove top with two burners. It came with 2 plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and 2 of every silverware. There were three pots and a small frying pan perfect for cooking our eggs in the morning. I had brought non stick spray which is a necessity for using the frying pan. The bed was very comfortable and even had two sets of pillows labeled “soft” and “firm”. Nice touch. The bathroom was fully stocked except for tissues. The shower was amazing! It has THE best water pressure of ANY hotel I have been to ever. I have thick hair and it was a pleasure to be able to actually rinse it out!! The blower only has two settings: high and low speed but I discovered that you can lock the cool button to decrease the heat. The fan in the bathroom kept it perfectly clear and steam free.

My only negative is the stove top. It took 20 minutes to heat up to the point that I could cook my eggs. Cant imagine doing that every day.

I loved the room! It was like a small one bedroom apartment. The full kitchen was great and a whole separate bedroom perfect and unexpected. Wonderful fitness and guest laundry as well as a helpful staff!

I could have used a larger bathroom counter. The bathroom is large but needs more space for guest 'stuff'. Also, the shower faucet is a bit confusing so if you can't find the water temp that you need call the front desk for instructions!

Friendly and helpful staff. I liked the full size refrigerator, additional clothes hooks on wall, full length mirror, plenty of counter space around sink in bathroom, additional sink for kitchen, and roomy closet. Conveniently located.

Staff put room in my husband's name though he was listed as a guest and not on the credit card, not enough luggage carts, need quick reference sheet for TV channels and there was no complimentary bag for dirty laundry to return home. Nothing to bad to speak of though.

NO BREAKFAST SERVED. NOT GOOD

The staff and the location and that it was pet freely you should not be charged extra for a pet the pet should automatically included in the price PERIOD other hotels just say pet friendly and that's all. this hotel needs to have a trash policy meaning I said a few days I had to change my own garbage the guest should be able to place there trash and linen outside the door to indicate that that it is needed to have fresh trash bags and linen.
