Hyatt House Raleigh North Hills

this was our first time in Raleigh in decades. I chose this hotel based on the North Hills location and because my father doesn’t sleep in a bed. this hotel offered the highest square footage and types of furniture. the hotel was clean, staff was excellent no matter the time of day, and really enjoyed the ability grab snacks at the little market, walking distance to restaurants and five minutes to fun stores. this hotel was so clean that even someone was cleaning the base of the treadmills. I was impressed. lots of collaborative social space near the bar and thoroughly pleased.

the breakfast was included and lots of choices but it was not good. we felt that Hyatt is not getting their value out of the money spent to the food supplier and chose to eat elsewhere the rest of the stay. the seating was great but food wasn’t.

location was great, close to restaurants. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and courteous. Main lobby very well appointed. Clean and appropriate safety measures in place, especially availability of hand sanitizer, multiple locations, definitely following current guidelines for Covid-19. our room was as described. very comfortable.

TV didn’t work, unable to access any programming. Called Host who suggested possible fix, might I add, he was very polite. ended up having to have the engineer come and fix the problem. The problem was attended to in a very reasonable time, given it was later at night, just an inconvenience. The restaurant was not open either night we were there. Again more of an inconvenience, there were restaurants just across the street open. Parking was difficult, but multiple options a short distance from the hotel.

The room was cleaned and large enough for me and my husband. The staffs were friendly and attentive.

Would love to have had the hot buffet for breakfast that supposed to be offered instead of the prepackaged food that were given real eggs omelette

Great location, has everything you need! the rooms are huge with a kitchen and living room. The gym is good, it has a washing room, pool, a pool table and a bar managed by the best and friendliest mixoligist Gabby! She is a GEM.

The breakfast is ok.... it needs more current care as things ran out and there was no sense of urgency to replinish. Parking is also ok, you can park on the street outside.

The staff were very friendly andhelpful. We appreciated the variety at breakfast as we cannot eat sugar or carbs, so the protein options were great.

The room was well stocked with all the things we might need during our stay. However, the hair dryer in our room was broken and the mattress needed to be turned, and there is an issue with the toilet not wanting to flush properly. Otherwise everything was fine. A small suggestion. We could hear just about everything going on outside our door and above our room, a fan for some white noise would have been wonderful!

Female front desk staff need not be so socially chatty while attempting to check in guests. We do not care nor want to hear about your chatty bantering. Although their was a hot breakfast, powdered eggs were horrible, but I loved the diversity of fresh fruit. I did note the inclusive and intentional hiring of diverse staff. Well done!!

I love the amount of space that is in each unit and I love that it has a kitchenette in a small living room area. It definitely over exceeded my expectations.

I didn’t like the parking, I thought it was really inconvenient and the fact that there is only two entries to the property

This hotel exceeded my expectations. This weary traveller was met by friendly staff with recs for places to eat nearby. The bartender made me the best Old Fashioned that rivaled those of WI. The room was fantastic and the shower was so wonderful I never wanted to leave. Definitely coming back!

Not a thing, I loved it all.

Everything went pretty well & smooth from check in to out. We loved the location & surroundings. I used to live in Raleigh & haven’t been back since 2015. The growth in the area is just spectacular.

The one thing that REALLY irritated us was…... The shower in out room. The water no matter how we manipulated the shower head ALWAYS got out on the rest of the bathroom floor, & basically puddled & flooded it. We had to use towels to direct it to the drain, & was ALWAYS an issue. Nothing like getting up in the middle of the night, & making your way to use the bathroom while half asleep, & standing in a puddle. Then having to dry your feet before you get back into bed…🤦🏻‍♂️ I can easily rant on, but besides that we loved & enjoyed our stay, & are planning the same trip in the upcoming Fall. See you then!

Clean. Spacious. Very nice Ave respectful staff. Bathroom was beautiful and clean. Love the area. Gave me a NY Manhattan area vibe.

Breakfast was horrible. I had my dirty towels on the floor at the door of my hotel room. I picked them up to bring into the hallway and a bug ran out from under them so obviously they do have bugs but they are hidden🥴. Need not as comfortable as expected.
