Best Western Statesville Inn

Its easy to find, curb appeal is clean and tidy and there was literally no trash anywhere even being next to a just road. Staff was great, room was clean and smelled good, AC worked well, bathroom was huge! We got a double queen and the beds were comfortable as well as the pillows! They provided breakfast which had a wide selection of hot and cold foods including a waffle press. Our kid loved it! They had just enough of a little bit of everything for everyone in the family.

We loved the fact they are remodeling, and our room was one that was remodeled. Very nice and clean and very spacious. Always love that they have a refrigerator because we need it when traveling. Very nice and friendly staff too.

The only complaints would be, a person was smoking right outside the door to the lobby which was very annoying. Also, no elevator but that is okay for us. Would not be for someone who was handicapped but you do have first floor rooms.

The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, if we find a need to be in this area we will book again. The room was a great size and there was a green space to walk dogs off the main lobby. The pool was adequate for the size of the compound and the lobby was comfortable and clean.

Some pieces of the room could be repaired. There was a board missing between the carpet and paneling and there were exposed staples or carpet tacks. The bathroom could use some renovating.

This is a very nice hotel. It is under some renovation on front, but do not let detract you. It is clean, and the staff is outstanding. Room was very nice, clean, comfortable and very quiet. Even though it is a pet friendly hotel, the night was very quiet. Breakfast is excellent. All in all, a very nice place to stay when you are passing by or even if you need to stay a few days.

Everything was good. I really do not have anything negative to say.

Property is undergoing renovation and we had a newly renovated room. All fresh and new. Comfortable bed, pillows, good supply of towels and amenities. Micro and frig in room. Great breakfast selection. Pet friendly (but an additional $20 fee.) Very friendly staff, all around good experience and we haven't been getting that in other hotels.

the rooms were fully renovated and spacious for my family.

the only bad thing is its a 2-floor building and they dont have elevators. we were also put in a room right by the metal staircase and we could hear everything with people being so loud coming up or down the stairs.

We visit every year due to the cleanliness of the rooms, staff reception and the location off the highway. Your staff Beth is someone that demonstrates good customer service. She was attentive to our needs.

We had a room across from us with a big dog. At the sound of noise in the hall, the dog would bark. Staff could let us know about these kinds of situations at check in.

Staff member who checked us in was super friendly and informative. She was a delight to deal with and alone will give us good reason to return. Please give her our compliments. Sorry I don’t have her name.

It was fine, although coffee in the morning could be improved as it was weak and lacking taste. Otherwise, no complaints.

I like that Best Western is very convenient for highway travelers, being about one block from hwy 77. I also like that the room is clean. They have coffee in the reception area all the time. The staff is friendly too. I love staying at the BW.

I love staying at the Best Western. The only thing I can complain about is the breakfast. Still no hot food for breakfast, and the breakfast grab bag has nothing good for diabetics. The pool is closed for the season too. The Ramada has it's pool open though.

The layout of the hotel for those of us with pets was exceptional! Price charged for pets was reasonable compared to other hotels. It was nice to be told “hot breakfast”, and actually have it!

Machine containing DIET coke (which we drink), was out of order. Some idiot parked in the striped area, marked for handicap accessibility - we barely got into our car to move it to another area for loading.
