Hilton Garden Inn Statesville

This hotel was beautiful and housekeeping was amazing and very helpful!

Continental breakfast! I have NEVER stayed in a hotel where you pay for this. I completely understand that you have menu food to order from and charging for that. However Continental Breakfast should always be free or don't offer it, or call it something else! I felt tricked. For the cost of the room, we were okay because it came WITH Continental Breakfast, or so we thought.

Room was very large and comfortable when traveling with kids. We had a junior suite with a king bed. The kids liked their own t.v. The desk space was great for working with laptops and files. Fridge and coffee maker we’re helpful

The couch was stained on the arms and cushions. This was the only thing I did not like about the room. It was clean but stained. Toilet was low and loose, felt like you were going to hit the floor when you sat down.

The staff were wonderful and incredibly accommodating. We actually left our reservation at the Best Western in Statesville (DO NOT GO THERE!) because it was terrible and checked in at the Hilton Garden. The hotel was incredibly clean, with wonderful amenities. The food at the bar was excellent and reasonably priced! Very impressed. Would stay again and will share our experience with others.

The ice machine on our floor was out of order, and the break buffet was not included with the price of the stay. But, those were minor in comparison to all the positives that were offered!

Staff was exceptional. Especially the manager. From getting us checked it to showing us where to locate our interested amenities, she was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Everything was clean & our granddaughter enjoyed the indoor pool. We had it all to ourselves.

The only issue we had was regulating temperature in our room. The heater & fan both worked but we just seemed to go from too hot to too cold. We did not report or as everything still worked.

Location was pretty much why I chose this hotel. It's right off the interstate. The room was comfortable.

There was no one at the front desk when I arrived. I waited at least 5 minutes until he showed up. He did apologize. It's just frustrating when you've been driving all day long & all you want to do is get into your room & unwind. I was so glad to see there was a Kuerig coffee maker in the room. I had my own Starbucks K-Cups. I couldn't wait to have a good cup of coffee the next morning. And guess what?! The stupid thing didn't work! 😡 Also, they served no free breakfast, other than, I think I saw microwave oatmeal & maybe bananas. It served its purpose, but I would not stay there again.....unless desperate.

Our room blinds were broken and there was a big, bright light shining into the room all night. When booking it said free continental breakfast, but it is not free. Not enough coffee available during the day.

There was not an a place to get fresh water in the lobby. Many hotels have some sort of dispenser to fill up your water bottle. Also no recycling bins. The lighting in our room was poor. No overhead and minimal lamps.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. One of the cleanest hotel bathrooms I've ever seen. Although there was no regular housekeeping service, presumably due to covid, we came back to our room to find fresh towels and coffee cups and the trash had been taken out, which was really all we needed.

The view from our window was of the parking lot, the Ford dealership and a construction site. The breakfast menu was condensed, but with the pandemic, that was totally understandable.

My room was not clean an used ear swab was left on the counter

Enjoyed the restaurant, terrific salmon dinner, mashed potatoes were real, sauteed spinach excellent dish.
