TownePlace Suites Wilmington Wrightsville Beach

Location ideal for travel to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. Easy check-in, check-out.

Room had a bit of a musty smell. Bed cover was a bit thin.

The breakfast was excellent and the woman was friendly and always helpful and always kept the food flowing. The staff at the front was very friendly and informative. I especially liked the woman originally from Greece. She was always warm and inviting and just good to talk to.

I saw 3 roaches in my room and that is why I didn't give it 10 stars. I know they are a frequent at the beach but I can't stand bugs and almost left after seeing the first one. And I did see them spraying for them so they do try.

The breakfast was amazing the place was clean we had a dog room and you couldn't even smell dog the bathroom was great the staff was amazing I haven't stayed in the hotel in forever I've been using airbnbs when we travel and I was a little nervous but this one was amazing

There was nothing that we didn't like we enjoyed every minute there was no loud noises people were respectful even though other people with their dogs we kind of had our own little schedule going on

I have stayed in four TownePlace Suites as we appreciate having double rooms and they are pet friendly. We now check for TownePlace Suites before we look at any other hotel. We have shared this information with our who have pets and travel with them. The locations have always been in good places with restaurants, gas station, banks, and shopping.

Location is super convenient to Wrightsville Beach & Wilmington. Parking is plentiful. The room wildly surpassed expectations with a refrigerator, toaster, microwave, stovetop, silverware, dishwasher, paper towels, etc. Everything I could need! The bed was super comfortable and the room was perfect for my needs. Also the main lobby had an entire "store" of different items / meals you could purchase 24/7, which was a great touch.

At the time of check-in, there was only one person working at the front desk. I think an additional staff member would have been helpful to improve wait times for check-in.

Good breakfast, good choice of items. Room was exceptionally comfortable.

The floor cleaning equipment was in eye view when I checked in. It was just beyond the reception desk and made the lobby look congested and messy. The serving area for breakfast was a tight place. Lobby and serving area could be larger to hold influx of visitors.

Location was good, near all the places I needed to go. The breakfast was good; I didn't get to try the waffles because someone was apparently making a stack and there was a line, which I didn't have time for, but the eggs and sausage were good. I was very glad to find a nice hotel that was pet friendly and near the campus. The also had a nice dog-walking area.

My room was next to the elevator, which was noisy, but I got used to it.

The staff was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Everything was open and available for use and public areas were frequently cleaned.

They was a strong odor in the hallway areas. It was pretty overwhelming at times. Had to request room service for towels and trash but that was due to COVID-19 restrictions. I didn’t really have a problem with that but I know others may find that as inconvenience.

Need larger TV for the rooms. Ice machine on each floor. Outside needs make over to match inside.

Very specious room. Clean! Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable! Loved that it was only a $20 hold on card.

Pool looked dirty but bottom probably just needs to be updated. But kept us from even wanting to try it. The kitchen was so small everyone was stepping on each other and there was not enough seating... We had to take our food to our room and re heat it because it got cold before we could sit and eat it.
