Cedar Cove

Front desk staff was great at check in and provided cold water. Location is great and is a nice place to stay for Cedar Point. Overall I would stay here again in a pinch, but I might shop around for a more planned visit.

Staff seemed eager for me to leave on checkout. Rooms are very basic but have all of the requirements for a good room including mini fridge. Overall the location and proximity to Cedar Point makes up for most negatives.

It was a convenient location to Cedar Point. It was clean and I loved how they had a family sized room. That is such a great offering. I also liked the selection at breakfast and that the pool is open late enough to refresh after a long day at the amusement park. That was well thought out.

It is a bit old, but I could tell the owners have done their best to spruce it up. Perhaps some conditioner in the bathroom would be convenient.

I arrived early and Kurt, the desk clerk was very kind during check-in. He asked if I might like to sit by the pool during my wait and was offered bottles of water to bring with me. The room was very clean and comfortable (although it could have used a bit of updating in the bathroom). Maggie organized a great free breakfast that helped us get off to a great start. And the last thing is that the location was fantastic as it was just yards down from the Cedar Point hotel.

There were areas that could have used a little attention - the area surrounding the pool being one. the pool on the other hand was lovely - very clean and perfect size for a little swim.

the photos I saw on here were nothing like the room I was given. I rented a king room thru the site and we were given what was barely a full size bed and there is no where at all to sit in the whole room other than the bed. so that made things a bit uncomfortable while we were hanging out that evening.

I was pleasantly surprised at how big the room was with 3 double beds. I was expecting there would be a sofa sleeper but that wasn't the case. Enough room for a short stay for all the bags. The coffee maker and refrig came in handy. Pool was cold but clean. There was great options for our continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend. Restaurants are very close for picking up some dinner. I would suggest a picnic table or 2, other than in the pool area.

It was super convenient to Cedar Point. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Decent breakfast.

Shower curtain rod was hung wrong so curtain would not stay closed, but found a way to make it work. There are train tracks nearby and you can hear the train, goes by about every hour blowing it's horn. Didn't wake us deep sleepers in the night though. The price through the hotels website was a lot cheaper than what I paid through booking.com

Nice room didn’t seem outdated. comfy bed and free wifi.

very thin walls you could hear any and everyone in the building having a conversation. didn’t realize there were 2 separate building either. tub drain was broken and toilet wasn’t flushing properly. they also don’t have a do not disturb option and we weren’t aware that housekeeping would just walk in while we were gone and while we were in the room.

It was decently clean in general but the floors are terrible I didn’t wear shoes for a minute and my feat were black, they definitely don’t get cleaned. Also the tub could use a good scrub. But the staff was super nice never have met a better staff at a hotel before!! Area is perfect place lots of things to do downtown directly across is a nice restaurant. Perfect distance from Kalahari and Cedar point if you’re planning to go there!!

breakfast was ok it was nothing fancy it was fresh and hot or cold what ever you wanted

the rooms floors seemed liked they made your feet dirty they were very nice floors maybe they are new or something that was the only thing we did not like about the room because the rooms are very clean

It's incredibly close to Cedar Point, like right at the end of the strip. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly.

The airvent in the bathroom was so loud and it turns on with the light to the point i just rather sat in there with a flashlight. Also one of the outlets next to the bed is broken, but that's not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
