Sleep Inn Sandusky

The pool and hot tub were pretty decent The pool was a little cold but the hot tub was nice once everyone got out of it I'd also like that the pool area was open late so I was able to grab a swim after I came back from the amusement park I did like the fact that they had different items available for breakfast such as breakfast sandwiches and muffins.

It's not the hotels fault but they did have waffles for breakfast and someone was making waffles for their entire family so they were hoarding the waffle maker for a long time.

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. No problems with our rooms being clean. The pool was a little cloudy like it had to much bleach in it.

I requested rooms close together and they were at different ends of the hall. I would understand if I booked a couple weeks out but this trip was planned months out. There was plenty of time to make sure we had rooms close or next door to each other.

Didn’t have the breakfast, too early for us. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds are clean and comfortable. Good privacy darkening drapes.loved having frig & microwave. Shower big, good water pressure & plenty of hot water. I chose hotel bc Applebees next door! Also close to cedar point!

The room did not smell fresh. The odor came from the air conditioning filter. Vending machine for beverage only on first floor., had to go upstairs vending machine for chocolate candy.

Booking the room was quick and easy. Front desk representative was courteous and efficient at both check in/out. Facility was clean with covid standards active. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast/eating area was well maintained. Hotel surrounded by restaurants, shopping plaza, other retail stores, with the shopping mall only 5 mins away, and a movie theater nearby. Excellent location.

Great staff, comfy beds(very clean), good variety for breakfast, and wifi. Good location around shopping and food. Next door to an applebees that stays open late. Pool and jacuzzi are a plus!

No included microwave/mini refrigerator for basic rooms. Some racist graffiti in elevator that could be tended to. TV could also be updated.

Very nice hotel, clean, great staff, nice pool that my kids enjoyed each night we stayed, an amazing hot tub that felt great, wasn’t way too hot or too cold it was perfect. Only problem we had was two things we was on the 3rd floor in the smoking section and Saturday a few people checked in to the room across from us and within a few minutes of them getting into their room the entire 3rd floor hallways smelled like pot very very badly to the point we had to call the front desk. We had our 3 teenage daughters as well as a bunch of their friends staying at the hotel for a cheerleading competition on Saturday and those kids did not need to be around that. The second thing was when we left the room Saturday morning for competition we had a room service thing hanging on our door wanting clean towels, coffee and sugar refill and have them clean up the room and when we got back nothing had been done. The lady at the front desk said all but one housekeeper called off and they were behind but when we left for dinner and came back they had finally cleaned the room up. Other than those two issues we had a great stay. And we’ll definitely stay again when up in that area. Highly recommend eating at the bar and grill called The Thirsty Pony, it was great good, great staff and some really cool and unusual cups your drink can be put in. Overall a great weekend the hotel and In Sandusky!!

Only can get to your room from the mail entrance and if your not parked close it’s a good walk to get into the hotel but other than that no other issues.

Comfy bed and COLD AC!

Breakfast-little variety- egg/sausage/cheese Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, bagels, muffins. No fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal or milk. The muffins ran out and there was a large group of people that still hadn’t eaten. We asked for more muffins and were told they didn’t have more. So some only got the sandwich or bagel option. Even with Covid there was no reason it couldn’t have been better!

The pool was so nice and warm! The hot tub was wonderful. The king suite was spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast was pretty pitiful. It was a twin pack of muffins and a bottle of water. I understand Covid restrictions make it hard to serve a good breakfast but they could have at least had some milk and juice and fruit. The boarded up hotel across the street was a little creepy but there was an active police presence watching it which made me feel safe.

Honestly it was the staff when we checked in. The check in/out was simple. Great pool/hot tub area. Clean. Price was amazing. And the breakfast is always a hit with my kids I will Definitely stay here again. The beds were great too

The pillows. But i hate all hotel pillows.

The hotel was close to everything. It was only about a 13 minute drive to the shore and both of the waterparks were close by. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly.
