Motel 6-Huron, OH - Sandusky

The vending machines had good options. Everything looked fairly clean. One of the two beds in our room was comfy. The staff was polite and friendly. The water pressure in the shower was good. The locations really close to Cedar Park but still affordable. The indoor pool has a pool lift so that’s pretty cool. It’s pet friendly, so you can sometimes see other guests with their dogs and they may let you pet them.

Some of the furniture needs an update, as it looks chipped and old. The toilet seat looks like something scratched the heck out of it. The second bed in our room wasn’t very comfy, as you could really feel the springs on one side of it.

This is the best place we've stayed at in such a long time for a great price. I thought u had to pay top dollar to get a decent room, but this one outsone itself. The beds were queen size and super comfortable enough pillows for a good night's rest. We took our pup at no extra cost. Our towels were replaced the very next day. Love it, already recommended it to someone and we already know where we'll be staying next we visit Cedar Point 10/10

The staff was wonderful. While there we experienced a nightmarish ordeal at Cedar Point when they GAVE OUR BAG TO A RANDOM STRANGER. Yes, our bag with our phones, id, credit cards and car keys was taken from our locker and handed to a random woman at 1230A. We were trapped in the park until 230A dealing with Park bureaucracy. Motel 6 staff offered to pick us up, let us keep the room WAY past check-out and we're very compassionate. Cedar Points own hotel (Breakers) told us several times "we can't help you." I am definitely a Motel 6 fan!

There wasn't an ink pen in the room. That was the only thing I can say I didn't like.

The staff was so nice and courteous. The pool area was very clean.

The bathtub was clogged so when we showered there was standing water for about 5 minutes after the shower. There were stains on the comforters. We removed those before getting into bed for the night. The trash cans are so small in the rooms. The WiFi was practically unusable. You couldn’t keep a connection for more than 5 minutes before being booted. The soda machines do not take credit cards, that would have been nice as we don’t typically carry cash. The price was a little high with the facilities being so dated.

We had a very good stay. The rooms where good. Could of use a little update like a fridge and microwave in the rooms the lady at the front desk was very nice. To us and are dog so was the lady at night I would use this location again next year for cedar point. Thanks for making my dog and us feel welcome

Staff great. We loved that it was pet Friendly.

The spa was not working. Need to clean up the sitting area outside by pool. Was going to lay out after in the pool, but the chairs had spider webs and dirt all over them.

liked the pool and hot tube. they were both very clean. room was spacious and had plenty of pillows. bed was also comfortable

only thing I didn’t like is they didn’t have coffee out except in the morning. I like to have it all day lol.

The room was tidy and the building was in pretty good shape.

The room was a tad bit small, but ok for 2 adults and 2 pups. I hated that it didn't have a fridge or microwave for our leftovers that we had from dining out, but it didn't advertise that either, so our fault really. Just feel like there should be those amenities since you're most likely going to dine out when you're on vacation. It was also a little noisy due to being by railroad, but not insanely loud.

Amanda at the front desk was ALWAYS extremely friendly! There was also another VERY nice lady at the front desk in the evening but we didn’t catch her name

The hotel provided just what we needed, and any travelers needs; a bed, shower, shelter and relative safety accommodations. The staff was very friendly to me. I know they have to put up with a lot of people and rude behavior. The 3rd shift female staff took the time to explain the rates for me and answer my question upon first arrival.

One of the cheapest hotels I have stayed in offered a shower mat for the shower floor to prevent any slips or falls in the shower. I feel a simple shower mat may help save the hotel in future liability losses. I do not understand why the shower towels in the room need to be the small and medium size. Myself and others, would prefer a good full size towel to dry off when exiting the shower.
