Studio 6 Suites - Albany, OR

This was not your average Motel 6. When I entered the room. I could really tell the pride and attention that was taken by the staff. My room was very clean and comfortable. There was not a hair in the shower. The sheets were clean. Those two combined. Usually decide how I feel about the room. The room looked newly remodeled. It was nice that it was not far away from the highway. There was a gas station in the parking lot too. Which I liked. Most of the staff was very kind. And the other staff it seemed it could have been an off day. They did their job which I appreciate.

There were some issues with my booking through booking. They figured it out. But the check in took a bit of time. The tv remote didn’t work properly. I chose not to say anything to the staff the night I was staying. And after mentioning it in the morning. They said they would have fixed it for me. Or shown me how to work it. Getting someone out to take a look would be a good thing to do. Seems it’s the case of several rooms. But honestly the willingness to make things better really made up for it. They also mentioned trying a new cleaning solution for the floors. Which I didn’t get dirty feet. So I was happy about that. I think staff should be paid better too. They deserve it.

Stayed in the same place years ago when it was just a cheap place to stay when working in the area. New owners now and it is still a great value but has been newly remodeled. Rooms are very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good with easy access from the freeway and lots of restaurants in the area. Will definitely be staying there in the future.

Had a minor issue when I got to my room (water leak from upstairs) but it was quickly handled and I moved to another room. No shampoo in the rooms but asked at the desk and it was quickly provided. Parking lot is rough.

The check in staff were not friendly, almost rude. There is no food options, no breakfast or snacks. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is very convenient it's right off the freeway.

The front desk staff were rude. There are is no food available, it would have been nice to have the option for some snacks. My room door was at the smoking section, their smoker s. Dogs barking all night. I came in really late, there was no option to have a late check out.

Great location off the freeway. We'll lite up parking lot. Large TV. Lady at frontdesk helped me a lot, as she let me use her cell phone to call my bank in canada,as I got a fraud alert on my credit card. Very nice room.

There was no hair dryer, but I knew that ahead of time. The only concern I had was there was a desk,but no chair to sit on. I had to stand up to use my tablet. No chair to watch TV. Both had to lay on the bed. Otherwise everything was great.

Really enjoyed my stay,, the motel had everything I needed. Nice clean room, comfortable bed, a walk-in-shower with a see through door. It was peaceful, comfortable and quiet. Several restaurants in the immediate area. Easy access to I - 5. Good wifi. A good, solid motel experience. Will return the next time I'm in the area. The GM/Owners was very helpful and sweet.

Price was great location was good

The shower did not get hot. The water would get warm, then turn ice cold throughout the whole shower. I let the lady know when I checked out that the shower didnt get hot and she told me that in some rooms(the one I stayed in was one of them) that the hot/cold were opposite. I let her know that might be something you tell a guest when they check in! But...it did get warm, just NEVER stayed warm!

The manager was so accommodating! We were driving a 15-foot U-Haul, which isn't the easiest to park anywhere. She moved us to a different room in the other building with a larger parking lot, just for our convenience. The room was clean and has a fan we could run overnight. Great stay!

I wish there had been instructions for the room: Wifi, the TV remote, a map of the grounds. Not necessary, but one usually finds them at motels/hotels.

Great clerk during check in and check out. Plenty of free parking in front of room, which is important to me. Big, comfortable bed, good TV w/plenty of channels, very little noise from other guests, plenty of hot water, close to everything I needed in town. Almost couldn't ask for more. Only thing missing was HBO or Showtime.

Would have liked HBO or Showtime.

I loved this little hotel. It was cozy and comfortable and I felt safe. The manager was really sweet and accommodating, and I was able to park my truck and trailer up against the fence in front of my room. I was concerned about parking but it wasn’t an issue for me. This is a great choice if you’re looking for something simple and affordable!

The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, shower had plenty of hot water. Prices were reasonable.

It would have been nice to have a chair in our room. There was one in our son's room though so, maybe next time. Also, we had a room on the ground floor which was great until the people above us moved around. We discovered it can get pretty noisy. Luckily we all decided to sleep about the same time.
