Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-On the River, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was mostly the standard hotel fare -- with the wonderful inclusion of gluten free muffins! It was good, and the breakfast room (overlooking the Willamette River) was clean, comfortable, and scenic. The staff member in charge of breakfast was very personable and attentive.

The hotel is undergoing renovations at this time, and this was disclosed to us upon checking in. There was some street noise, and the mattresses were in need of replacement.

I have 2 service dogs (1 Chihuahua Papillion and 1 Akita) and they were accommodating and friendly. Sometimes people are apprehensive of our large dog which i understand but it's undeserved. That wasn't the case. Everyone we came in contact with were friendly and polite. It makes me happy. As for the facilities themselves its a hotel. They can only do so much as far as keeping everything clean. People are disgusting creatures. So what if the wallpaper has some spots where it wasn't glued properly? Grout comes out over time, especially when it's constantly getting wet. When people spill stuff everywhere of course there will be a stain. Think of how many people come thru the doors in a year. Maybe it's because ive stayed in some really ghetto places, but this place was great. Especially for the price. It's way better than any motel 6 I've ever been in.

The only gripe is I would have liked a bit more vending machine options. But I also have no problem going to a store or restaurant if there's something I really want.

The hotel blends well into the residential character of the neighborhood. It fronts on an extended river walk. The town is charming. The staff were very friendly and accomodating as well. We used the laundry, as we were on a 2 week vacation, all in motels, it was nice to utilize a clean facility.

Parking was a bit limited on a weekend day, but a minor issue.

Convenient location, pool and hot tub are always in good order and breakfast is always good.

Spiders everywhere! I mean not in our room but found several in the staircases and massive webs around the exterior of the building.

The toilet in our bathroom made a running sound every few minutes and so was in need of maintenance. I shut the bathroom door and then slept great.

I wasn't sure how the "pet-friendly" part would work, but the room was very clean and getting the dogs outside was easy. Love the view of the river and the river trail.

I think it would be great to have a small dog-toilet area, possibly the size of 1-2 outdoor parking spots. The parking garage was dark and a little scary, left and parked up top.

the river was a nice place to walk/ run in the morning. the hotel and rooms were clean. I was able to use the gym which was also clean. A full breakfast is provided. Dove soap is provided so you don’t use the typical hotel sticky soap. finally, the staff are all friendly.

The room was nice and the facilities were good. I was disappointed that the fees for a pet friendly room were $50 per night. Other than that the breakfast was good and so was the coffee.

$50/per night pet fees 😫 was a bit of a surprise. Usually pay once per stay.

Breakfast is fine. I definitely check in this hotel because of the cleanliness and good costumer service .

Nothing …though it’s under construction, it’s understandable but the staff service is excellent.

Conveniently located for why we were in the area (college softball) it was clean and fairly comfortable. Breakfast was AMAZING.

My only complaint would be the hardness of the bed. I like a softer mattress but realize most people prefer a firm mattress so they won out over us who like a softer one.
