The location, Bandon, Oregon, couldn't have been better! The hotel was less than 5 minutes from my client and less than 8 minutes from the beach. Both major benefits.

There was no-one to get a receipt from for work, so I called the # provided, who sent me to Booking.com... I haven't had success on the Booking.com in getting said receipt yet. New experience, and a frustrating one, to have no human contact. The benefit was that got in a little after 1130pm and could still get my room. No breakfast provided at this location.

This has to be one of the top 5 cleanest motels I stayed in, I've stayed at high-end motels and hotels and this one tops the list! I check out everything, corners in the room, hairs in the bed, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, and the bathroom. I really inspect the bathroom, I hate hairs in the sink, shower, or tube! I carry infrared light also! Top-end hotels I stayed at, Ritz, Hyatt, Vegas, and ect.

Hard time finding good food. But Spinners is the best for food in Gold Beach Oregon, great!

Loved that they had a "family room" with three queen beds. Great location - along our drive down the 101 from Coos Bay to Crescent City. They were the only ones we could find that had a last-minute vacancy able to accommodate a family of 5 in one room at Friday, 11pm during the July 4th weekend. Every hotel was expensive due to demand, including this one. Old hotel with an old fashioned key - very basic. Keurig coffee in the room, had wifi and two TVs. Not a place to hang out in but great for a bed (or 3). The hostess was very nice. Called me to see when we were arriving.

Old hotel - no bells and whistles. Facing the 101, so not necessarily quiet.

This hidden gem of a motel is a triumph of parsimony! Clean as can be, every amenity is provided while not one thing is excessive. The landlady is courtesy defined, not a speck of dirt on the floors, walls or ceilings,-all glows with health and warmth and comfort and conscientious care. It is just about a block south on the same side of the street to the Double D's retro-in-reality restaurant, open 7 to 2 with plenty of variety for breakfast and lunch, and it's not much further across the street to Spinner's, a flagship restaurant of the south coast, fine dining defined. There a two wonderful little second-hand shops in this part of town (and a couple more to the north) And of course, the endless forests, rocky shores and roaring ocean are longtime friends. Travel south towards Brookings and you'll find seacoasts to shame those of the Mediterranean, and giant flocks of seagulls whose only passion is to exceed the kaleidoscope in the mesmerizing and gigantic vortexes they create in their flying flocks. You have entered paradise here, and the Azalea is its gate!

anything "better" would be excessive, here 'tis the gift to be simple, the gift to be true.

The Azalea Lodge exceeded expectations. Had all the right features: comfortable bed, reading lamps on both sides of the bed, exceptionally clean, and fridge had a real freezer! The reception clerk also gave us a great dinner restaurant suggestion.

Cute little room. The ceiling is bare wood and beams, which I thought was cool looking.

The mattress was a bit lumpy. The water pressure was poor in the shower but I think that could be easily fixed by cleaning the shower head.

Helpful staff that recommended great Mexican restaturant nearby - La Casita de Oro, best way to reach Gold Beach and where to ask for hiking trip. Clean room with separated bathroom and a lot of storage space

Minor soundproofing between rooms

Location was perfect. Across from the convention center where I was going. Roomy and very clean and quiet.

The TV controller would not change channels, Was stuck on E! TV.

It was perfectly clean, the microwave, fridge, and Keurig were great! Good hot shower with good pressure.

The only thing that needs improvement is there really needs to be some sort of fan in the summer because only a tiny section of the windows open so not much circulation. Just a little table top fan would probably help a lot.

Exceptionally clean and neat for budget accommodations. Although it's located right on a major north-south highway, the rooms at the rear are very quiet.

Can't think of anything.
