Jot's Resort

Love the location of Jot’s Resort right on the Rouge River where you can see lots of river wildlife, birds of all types, seals catching salmon. Also a great view of the bridge. Jot’s is quite accommodating to fishermen hosting a cleaning station right off the dock you see from your room. I’m sure it could probably be quite busy during high fishing season but in May it was pretty quite. There is also a great restaurant that offers pub food and fine dinning as well as a full bar just across the street within walking distance. I would like to add Sam Walker III is a great manager of this property. His parents once owned it so he takes pride in presenting Jot’s.

Perfect location. The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. I was traveling to visit family and needed to detour due to weather. I obtained this room last minute as it was starting to get late and I would have to travel past midnight to get to my destination. I used Booking for the first time and it was so easy. Check-in was easy (I made my reservation 5-10 minutes before my arrival). Front desk was friendly and professional.

I could hear neighbors a little too well... the only complaint I might muster up... it wasn't a big deal. I just noticed it. It would not have kept me from going to sleep nor would it keep me from staying here again.

the pool/spa/sauna restroom was disgusting, it was so bad I didn’t even want to walk in there to use the facilities!! My boyfriend went to use the men’s restroom and there was poop on the trash can!! it seemed that the staff neglected the pool/spa/sauna area all together! also there were no pool towels available so we had to bring the ones from our room. also the spa had so much chlorine it was hard to sit in there and relax because our eyes were burning so bad!

The Facility was very quiet and located right on the river. The only issue we had was we couldn’t find a beach to walk on at this facility. That did not mean there wasn’t access just couldn’t find it. We had a great visit at Jots Resort and would definitely stay again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we called down to front desk to ask when check-out was she offered an extra hour if we needed it. Awesome Place to Unwind and Relax. Would Recommend to Friends & Family.

The only thing that stood out as a negative was the carpet needed to be cleaned. It looked like the guests before us had muddy feet. There wasn’t time to steam clean the carpets. Other than a few stains not a big deal.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming, our room was cosy and comfortable with a lovely view of the water and bridge. It was very spacious and came with a fridge and microwave. The sauna and hot tub were nice and relaxing after a long day! Plenty of parking right next to the rooms, and we felt safe and secure.

You could definitely hear noise from upstairs but luckily our neighbours quietened down at a reasonable time. There was no cutlery or bowls etc for use with the microwave.

Basic room, but a lot of conveniences and ammenities on site: gift shop and beer in lobby 'til 10, pool, spa, sauna, a restaurant with the latest dinner hours in Gold beach. Every room shares a balcony semi-partioned with a view of the Rogue River and bridge. They use locker room style body wash and shampoo dispensers, reducing plastic waste, which I appreciate. Fridge, microwave, full sized towels. ADA ramps to access all of bottom floor rooms. Boat launches.

Shower stall only, no tub.

The staff was very pleasant, and the room was exceptionally clean and large (King room). I was not expecting a kitchenette with all the cooking pans and utensils you need for basic meal making.

About the only thing I didn't like was that the hot tub and pool closed at 10 p.m. which left very little time for just adults. So if there was anything I could suggest, it would be to extend the time on that.

This hotel was much better than expected. The outside is a simple hotel but when you enter the room is updated and the view (river view room) is spectacular! The Rogue river fills your view, in both directions, as it spills into the ocean, which you can see on your right. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights and it was well worth the very reasonable price.

We stayed on the 3rd floor so the stairs were a killer!

Was great to come in from a long day at the coast. Was close to our adventure at Jerrys Rogue jets. Loved the hot tub and sauna after our adventure, and the grandkids loved the pool. The guy that worked the evening shift was funny, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the girl/young lady on morning shift told us of a great place to go to Star Gaze.

Was only one very small trash can in the room.

Beautiful river right in front of our room with views to the ocean and Gold Beach. Sea lions played around the boat dock. Great view of the bridge. Large room with sliding door on the 3rd floor was clean and bright, looked HGTV ready in beachy colors. Nearby Gold Beach excellent for walking and sunset views. Tried locally bewed Arch Rock beer at the nearby restaurant and rock fish with a caper sauce.
