SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Gold Beach

The room was super clean, tastefully updated and very comfy! The bed was Fantastic, like sleeping on a cloud and ample pillows were provided! The room is well laid out for convenience; we loved that the little kitchen area (microwave, coffee maker and fridge) were in the same nook across from the sink and not out in the room. Shower was fantastic. Room was spacious and we loved that our pet friendly room had carpet so it was soft on our bare feet. Parking was easily accessable from our room, as was beach access. The windows and sliding door with balcony were great to have and added to the ambiance. Overall great value for the price. A+ guys, will absolutely stay again and totally recommend!

Honestly have no complaints at all, everything was great :)

Just had my second stay in 2 weeks. Why? Because I'm a nut who forgot my suitcase in the parking lot and had to drive back there another five+ hours to retrieve it. I am so thankful that they kept it for me and everything was in it. The desk people have been very nice. I got a dog friendly room, bottom floor, so it was easy to get her outside. Room was quiet and didn't smell at all. (All other places I've stayed in dog friendly rooms, smelled). Great location to the beach. Listened to the waves all night and walked down to the beach in the morning. Thankyou Sure Stay and your staff!

There was something left in the fridge from someone else. But in all fairness, it was way in the back and was all white container that blended to the fridge. Everything else was very clean and fresh. This is my now go to hotel when I'm in the area.

Love location, easy walk to beach. Also wonderful to have a private balcony with chairs to enjoy outside. The hot breakfast was great

Only thing is I wished I had known first floor meant stairs going down and second floor really meant no stairs

The location and views were amazing! Even though the hotel was full, our room was quiet. The staff really made our stay. They were informative, friendly and met all our expectations. We will stay here again in the future.

The bathroom toilet seats look worn and old , they need to replace it, stairwell’s at the end of the building looks like it never gets swept there was garbage around. It’s an older building looks like they need some repairs.

The room has a balcony faciing the private beach; it was storming and gorgeous. The room was large, and I enjoyed the desk area. The bathroom was clean .

I called and requested an early check in. The young voice answered and simply said "hello", leaving me wondering if I called the right number. But, they were busy, and when I went ahead and showed up, they gave me an early check in.

Location was perfect, just a short easy walk to the beach. Breakfast, while it was a nice jester, the food was terrible and we threw it away. The jetted tub in the room was amazing, as was the view of the ocean. Staff was very friendly and the room was very large, comfortable and clean. Will be going back again!

Didn't realize that the rooms with jetted tubs were a level down on the ground, which makes sense due to the weight factor. Therefore we had to go down a flight of stairs. Not a problems, if you don't have any health issues.

The room was nice. Loved the private balconies. The pool & hot tub were great. Loved the private access & short walk to the beach.

At one point during our stay there was a dog that would NOT stop barking. It went on for almost 2 hours. My husband finally contacted the front desk and the girl (woman) who answered said she would look into the situation. Not long afterward, the barking finally stopped. Not sure what happened but it was nice to finally enjoy our room. Thanks to the front desk staff.

I liked the view.

The pool needed cleaning as did the hot tub thst wasn't working. No plastic cups or coffee cups in the room. The mattresses need to be replaced. I felt like I was sleeping in a hole all night very uncomfortable. I will never reserve a bottom floor room again as there is no elevator which I should have asked when I reserved the room.

I have stayed here many times over the last 14 years, and I love the location and being able to walk to the beach. Lovely view and friendly staff! Which really makes a huge difference. Robert checked us in and I appreciate his helpful happy disposition. Especially these days with Covid. Thank you!

The property appears to need some maintenance work. We noticed the roof needs replaced. Which didn’t effect our stay in our room. We did have to have the maintenance person come fix our door because it would not lock and a burned out lightbulb in the bathroom. The slider also needs replaced it took some muscle to open and close it. All in all we love the beach and it was clean, the people were friendly and I was allowed to have my pup. So we will be back!
